Centrophenoxine, hormonal changes and cancer?

An aging acquaintance of mine was complaining about her memory. I told her about how i had benefited greatly from a number of nootropic drugs, she expressed interest so i gave her a small sample of piracetam, idebanone, and centrophenoxine to try and see how she liked the effects.

she enjoyed them for the first couple of days then started complaining about nausea, i told her to discontinue them if they made her uncomfortable but maybe to try taking them with food etc. she took them for about ten days, and then began to feel a growth in her abdomen. the growth was examined by a doctor and shown to be a malignant uterine tumor which was operated upon immediately. she has survived the procedure and is in recovery. i have since found that she is extremely sensitive to hormonal changes, especially increases in estrogen. she does not blame the nootropics and i would imagine there is not a correlation, but could anybody here comment on this?

i was under the impression that nootropics are in general very benign, and produce a placebo effect at worst. centrophenoxine which is a compound of DMAE and pCPA, the later being similar to plant growth hormones, is what worries me. could this have induced a hormonal imbalance which would aid the proliferation of cancer?

It is possible, but IMO very unlikely.

How much time passed between the first ingestion of any nootropic and the detection of that cancer?
 
No, it seems safe to say that there was absolutely no connection between the two.

1. Nootropics don't cause or promote cancer growth.
2. The amount of pCPA is quite small compared to similar compounds in food.
3. Nootropics produce a measurable active change in brain function and thus are not placebos.
 
10 days are FAR TO LESS to suggest a link with the found cancer.

Cancer has to develop and even if the growth rate is quite fast in the final stage, it needs some time. I'm talking about months, maybe more! 10 days won't do it!!
