I just went 2 my doctor 4 depression hopeing 2 walk away with a script 4 zannies, but i ended up gettin stupid celexa. im pretty sure there is no recreational value, correct? Anyway's, I am thinking of scanning the script, removing what my doctor wrote, and print out a blank script paper. You think if I fill the script out say for like oxy's or something, I could get them w/o a problem? Thanks in advance...

I heard that the pharmacies have to call the doctor and confirm with anything schedule II or above. Go for the xanax.

A) It's an SSRI and has NO recreational value.
B)Don't scan the script and try to pass a fake one...I'm more than certain it will fail miserably and you'll end up in jail.

I don't need social security. Just get bi-polar disorder. We can't take SSRI's for risk of really hurting oursleves and other. Benzos and other mood satbilizers such as Depakote are the standard these days.

Or you could just take the SSRI and effectively treat your depression.

I was diagnosed as bipolar (and schizoaffective) and was given celexa with lithium.
Let this be a lesson--they give antidepressants for depression. What are the odds?

DON'T EVEN TRY to switch your prescription from an SSRI to OC's or anything like it. OC's are written on totally different perscrption pads.
besides if you really have depression, opiates will make you feel a lot better for a "few" hours then you go even farther down hill to a point below where you started. and then you'll need more and more to keep you on top of that "roller coaster." eventually nothing will help. IMHO. don't fuck with drugs recreationally if you are serious about being depressed. keep getting help and see if that fixes the problem first.
xanax, is usually given for people with anxiety problems or something like it (most intelligent doctors don't even like to give out xanax for anything anymore... while some will perscribe it like it's candy)... it's not used that much for just depression either, and if you really have depression, messing around with xanax could make it even worse.

I get zannies and they don't call the doctor or anything. They even put refills on it and everything, but the XR code on the script is always different usually depending on the type of med. If you want to get zannies, don't be trying to change the script, that is too risky and more work than needed. Zannies aren't prescribed for depression. They are anti-anxiety meds. they are like low-grade tranquilizers. Tell your doctor you have severe anxiety and it not only affects you mentally, but physically. If that doesn't work, go to a psychiatrist. I'm a psych. major and get about 12 scripts a month....Zoloft, Buspar, Xanax, Ritalin, Valium, Depakot, etc....It's VERY easy to manipulate the system......let me know what happens...Later...ValArie

However, if you are truly depressed, take the Celexa and don't overdue the zannies.....THEY WILL INCREASE DEPRESSION....don't play with that unless you KNOW what you are doing. Meds are a VERY SERIOUS thing, sometimes more serious than illicit drugs. If you are expieriencing a lot of depression, lay off drugs that affect your seratonin such as meth and xtasy...those will make it MUCH MUCH WORSE!!! You can also buy something over-the-counter called 5HTP, it's a natural seratonin balancer...Let me know how your doing....Email [email protected]

ew, i was on celexa for awhile... i hated it... tell your doctor that its making you neausis and dizzy.. while i was on it i couldnt even get out of bed it had a freakishly horrible effect on me. but after i told my doc that she started giving me all sorts of other stuff to try... and i know someone that snorts celexa he says it gives him a high but only for like 5 minutes totally not worth it.. and he was complaining that it burned pretty bad
