Celexa and MDMA

So i have this girl in my life that i would really enjoy to have another MDMA dosing night with here sometime in the future.

She takes celexa daily and has been for roughly a year, she said she was reading something on here about it being selective and that some people take MDMA and still successfully roll but to what i understood that is really unhealthy to be taking an SSRI that regulates your serotonin and putting a drug in your body that is supposed to switch up that regulation...

main concerns..

-is celexa different than most ssri's and anti depressants as far as compatabilities with mdma?
-how dangerous or unhealthy is it for her to stop taking it for about a week or two just to have a night rolling then getting back on it?

she is thinking abotu stopping it altogether as well, i know that would be the best idea, but she isnt trying to just stop taking it only for the reason of being unable to roll

hoping to catch some people who take citalopram or someone just knowledgable in this topic, thank you in advance.

cheers

Celexa will strongly (sometimes near-completely) inhibit the effects of mdma. Taking a giant mdma dose to override this is a bad idea. Stopping for a week or so just to roll is a bad idea, as there will be a sort of withdrawal, particularly if there is rebound depression. Long-term SSRI use also causes receptor regulation, inhibiting response to MDMA to some degree for one to several months following discontinuation, but not nearly to the degree as when the SSRI is 'in your system'.

So this is a no-go.

I figured i would see a reply with these answers i just wanted to reinforce my educated beliefs on this topic as i dont have a whole lot of personal experience just what ive learned in life from friends and people in these situations and what ive read on other drug forums and this one....

she had been thinking to taper down and get off of celexa permanently prior to the idea of us rolling again. but what your saying is even after she stopped taking it, her serotonin production will be so used to the regulation that it will somehow continue to be regulated?

that question i just asked really really concerns me, i have a really close friend who took the generic of celexa for quite some years when he was a younger person... it was probably almost 5 to 6 years ago, it was in his early stages of development about age 13 to age 17 and hes now age 24or25

the first time i gave him some really high quality MDMA (which i refuse to purchase any unless i see a proper marquis reaction with strong reaction) he said he didnt really roll but i thought his size had alot to do with it too, hes the biggest man i ever known, 6 foot 5 roughly 300 pounds.

I had a friend who straight up refused to let me not take a line of molly while i was on celexa. It felt like a bit of coffee.
