    Welcome Guest!

Celebs down with thizz!!!

who could forget this mariah carey classic from a year or two ago?- "Obsessed"
I heard that whole song was an Eminem dis and if this is the case then I believe she would be referring to his use, not hers.

I dont know bout yall but if i had as much money as some of these famous folks had, id be rollin, speedin, leanin, noddin, trippin, yayin, just straight fuckin INTOXICATED all day errday.

As far as drugs and media goes, x has always been in the mainstream, but more people talk about cocaine than x, just cause its more well-known, and considering cocaine started in hollywood, and since thats pretty much the hub of all mainstream media, people have been talking about yayo as long as its been around. And its even worse in Atlanta.

its ECSTASY NOT THIZZ. goddamn that is the most retarded shit imo. E, X or Ecstasy/XTC. thats what its always been and should stay that way

I think the killers make a reference to E in 'This river is wild.' "Well adams taking bombs, cuz he's stuck on his mom.."

Also, MGMT's 'It's Working' is a song about ecstasy.

If beans fell off the face of the earth and the molly stayed uncut it would help things a lot....

I have never paid for molly that i felt to be adulterated by anything active...

And that is probably why i told myself i would never eat beans again... Its not MDMA that kills people, its the other random drugs thrown in pills and sold as MDMA that kills people.

I don't really care about celebrities being down with it, but there is always going to be a stigma behind it because for every 1 celebrity that says its ok, there are 5 saying its killing the youth of the nation.... If you don't believe me, read the rave act.... Oh yea, it was written in part by our current vice president, Joe Biden.... Oh yea, who propogated the "it eats holes in your brain" thing? Oprah fucking Winfrey.... One of the richest women to have ever lived.

More people care what Oprah thinks than lady gaga says.... Well maybe not, lady gaga is a bit of an attention whore, oprah just throws money at stuff.... because she has like a billion fucking dollars. We kind of have to care what kinds of laws our government passes, whether we agree with it or not.

Do you think the general public gives two shits what a couple celebrities say about drugs? Musicians do drugs, it tends to come with the scene, this isn't something new, some are just more open about it than others. They aren't trying to shape the minds of society, they don't have that much say in things.

Oprah, politicans, police, church people.... You can't shut them all up...

Alright thats true...but its usually the ones who are whack that end up taking them...usually MTV mainstreamers like eminem and lindsey lohan....although some drug heros have been cool...jimi hendrix, Jim Morrison, etc

but I stand by my point that MTV rappers and other mainstream non-electronic artit do not belong at Raves or electronic dance music events

So just because they make one genre of music, they can't enjoy another? Basically you're saying if somebody makes rap music, they shouldn't be at a rave.

So what if Jay-Z were to like and listen to Electronic music? Oh, but according to you he shouldn't be at a rave because he's a rapper. What the hell does their career have anything to do with what they like doing?

Pretty much saying like if I were to become a rapper and get big, I can't go to raves anymore because I make rap music. So it should go the other way too, Tiest/Armin van Buuren shouldn't be at a rap concert just because they make techno.

Also I didn't bother reading many of the other posts, so this may have been said before, but Lil' Wayne got arrested on his tour bus and he had MDMA on him

He wasn't talking about attending raves, he was talking about performing at them.

I always though Passion Pit's "Little Secrets" was about E, but maybe just because I connected it with my own use. XD

There was a story a few years ago when Britney Spears married that guy in Vegas for like 72 hours about her ecstasy abuse on that particular trip. You can google interviews with her 'husband' and he says she ate all kinds of "pure ecstasy" and that she started freaking out and he had to put her in a cold shower, all kinds of crazy shit. I think he even calls it an 'overdose' at one point.

Calm down. Im talking about PERFORMING at them. Its a rave not a hip hop concert, so therefor I stand by my belief that hihiphop artist should not PERFORM at raves. Otherwise it completely defeats the purpose of having a rave and would wash out the corse elements of what makes it so great.

Rappers can come to raves if they want. I dont care what type of people are there as long as they came to get down on some EDM.

NOOOOO!

I will not only denounce EDC if this happens, I will denounce ecstasy altogether. Those types of people do not belong at EDM events. Its about ELECTRONIC music not hip hop. You dont see Paul Van Dyk setting up a tent at a hip hop concert do you?

So dissappointed "Will. I. Am" is on the main stage at EDC. You watch, the crowd will go DEAD when he comes on.

Celebs dont even take ecstasy, they just rap and write crappy lyrics about it because they are targeting the mainstream for there record labels marketing purposes.

Nightmare scenario. The drug is getting wayyy less cool these days.

You obviously haven't heard this song.

Being 19, I know tons of people who only do ecstasy. Some don't even use marijuana. It's rare for me to find people that use opiates/cocaine/amphetamine.

^ im one of those people. :P

idk why but ive never been curious about weed, plus i always think that it smells strong enough that my parents would find out and i dont wanna get caught up in that situation.
