i have been noticing Jay-Z start talking about mdma in few of his songs and lady ga ga saying a little ecstasy never killed any one in an interview.... it just seems as if ecstasy is making a come bac and is losing its terrible stigma as an evil drug does anyone else get this feeling to about our beloved molechule

That might be true in the US only. On the other side of pond coke isn't as popular and it is much more expensive while being less pure. I would argue the coke type high is particularly popular in the US for cultural reasons as well.

I will not only denounce EDC if this happens, I will denounce ecstasy altogether. Those types of people do not belong at EDM events. Its about ELECTRONIC music not hip hop. You dont see Paul Van Dyk setting up a tent at a hip hop concert do you?
So dissappointed "Will. I. Am" is on the main stage at EDC. You watch, the crowd will go DEAD when he comes on.
Celebs dont even take ecstasy, they just rap and write crappy lyrics about it because they are targeting the mainstream for there record labels marketing purposes.
Nightmare scenario. The drug is getting wayyy less cool these days.

Alot of artists use mdma and have since the 80s. From Nirvana to the Police to Eminem to Tori Amos. I wouldnt call it a comeback per se

What makes you think that celebs dont take drugs.. ? you really think they just rap about that stuff because someone told them to?
they have tons of $$$ and for alot of celebs. drugs is on like the top 5 things they spend money on.

Alright thats true...but its usually the ones who are whack that end up taking them...usually MTV mainstreamers like eminem and lindsey lohan....although some drug heros have been cool...jimi hendrix, Jim Morrison, etc
but I stand by my point that MTV rappers and other mainstream non-electronic artit do not belong at Raves or electronic dance music events
