Fuuuuuuuuuuck! So I've been on a 30mg Roxi (7.5mg orally every 2-4 hours on a bit of a tolerance) since about... ehhhh... 5pm? Okay, anyways, I took the last 7.5mg chunk around 12am, right, sat down to smoke some more and watch a movie. 12:30 rolls around, opiate high is kicking in beautifully. All of a sudden my dogs want to go out back. Fuck it, I let them out but 15min later, at 12:40-12:45, one of them wouldn't come in. So I go outside and, after some unsuccessful encouragement, squatted all the way down, I mean ass cheeks touching the ground on a super wide stance, scooped the dog's lazy 87lb ass into my arms into a static curl position and just squatted up and carried her in.
She kicked and fought a little bit once I had her into my chest and I was struggling to keep her from dropping a good 5ft out of my arms onto the ground. During the struggle I felt something... hot?.... just kind of slice right through the inside of my thigh, I'm assuming what would be considered a groin injury? Either way, I came back in and could barely put any weight on my left foot. Fought my way to the stairs and collapsed down on the second or third step, I can't remember anymore. Crawled upstairs and just kept thinking to myself "RICE.. rest, ice, compress, elevate... RICE... rest, ice, compress, elevate" and I realized I wasn't mobile enough for ice or a wrap for compression, so I kind of hop-skipped on one foot into bed, propped up about 4 pillows and threw both of my legs sky high, man. Within seconds I remember my lower body started to shake, to convulse out of control... like I was super cold and just trying to warm up, but the temp was at a good 65 and I was fine, temperature-wise. In my mind, I kept going back to the possibility I had completely torn a muscle and then added excessive trauma hauling my ass to and up the stairs and that I might possible be going into shock. I just steadied my breathing as best I could, closed my eyes and tried to control the shaking.
My other dog, a gentle giant, man, came upstairs after hearing such weird shit going on around 1am. He sat with me and helped calm me down and focus my mind as I just chilled petting him and gradually noticing the shaking and tremors, which had begun to spread to my lower and midback area all the way from the bottom of me feet, gradually subside. Last time I looked at my clock it was 2:50am, then I woke up in a cold sweat like 10min ago. Nearly 2 hours of gradually less intense pain and shaking before I managed to become exhausted and well enough to fall asleep, however short.
Question here being, anybody know what the hell likely happened to me? I don't want to let my mind go too far on this one, I'm pulling a whole bunch of uneducated guesses out my ass and it's not helping much.. My leg's better now... I used a decorative walking cane (don't ask) I have in my room to get around, though, I didn't want to accidentally reverse the several past hours' worth of healing. The most stressful part throughout the thing was knowing I had 30mg of Oxy' in me and whatever I did to my leg was fucking KILLING me, and that thought was pretty scary considering I've never really been seriously injured, or even moderately injured.... worst I've gone through was a kidney stone, seven stitches on another occasion and every kind of fracture under the sun in my right hand, but this was just something new to me.
