Rather than packing much I've noticed if you burn it slower the hit is more "intense". That's probably just in my head though, I don't see how that would affect the potency.

Ditto!! I don't start the bong until 8 p.m.
I just can't toke all day anymore...& I'm retired with nothing to do all day except what I feel like, but I'm experiencing "Reverse Tolerance" since around age 45-50. I get blasted off 4-5 huge bonghits & that takes me thru the evening. I'll start my descent to Earth right around bedtime, so there's no problem with sleeping.
Don't get me wrong...I'm not complaining about this reverse tolerance situation...I just never would've guessed that as I've aged (this is my final year of the 50s), that I would need even less doobage than I did when I was 17 yrs old!! It's a nice retirement benefit.

^^They're pretty awesome, but I honestly prefer a regular Dutch to a glass blunt. The glass ones seem kind of like a novelty item to me...

This is operating on the same principle as my modded vaporizer-pipe. Butane burning generates H2O, CO2 and butane-related trace-compounds of which some are said to be potentially "neuro-toxic", euh... The water vapour makes those inhalations conveniently moisturized and the burst of aroma/taste seems difficult to beat (it's a brief experience - compressed in time). Contaminants would be the main pitfall judging from my own point of view, as i developped sensitivity after about 6 weeks: it began with nasal congestion and eventually gave rise to repeated sneezing. This crisis has now passed and i've never been able to identify the cause exactly. After 3 modifications i wouldn't suggest the pipe concept has an easy learning-curve in any case and hence conclude these "Glass Blunts" may be even more demanding.

But, if/when the owner manages correctly then my opinion is that's going to be a fine "sampler" for when a person wishes to conduct some cannabis evaluation using something portable which works in seconds. To me it's a "Plan-B" while i'm still trying to decide what to pick next as my "Plan-A"...

also, I've been faded off some Cinderella99 and 15 Xannie bars since Friday. Sorry if I've seemed different to y'all fuckers on here this weekend but it's been like a non-stop happy hour my way and I tend to just kind of ramble on and switch subjects but still get a lot of shit done, though... [edit: <---- ramble example :p]. What y;all smokin' on this beautiful weekend? I've just been doin' yardwork and keepin' the dogs (3 of them bitches I'm stuck with for 2 weeks, all over 70lbs) exercised, tired and fed the past couple days-- fuckin' full-time job, mind you. I'm just dealin' with dogs, mad respect to you single parents out there.

Fuckin' blown I gotta work tomorrow... I just wanna slip another glass slipper on Cinderella's foot, snap a bar in half and eat it and just do fuck all. That's the Xanax downside, I guess... You go in not wanting to do shit and I come out doing everything under the sun that I'd normally never do without some kind of incentive. Fuckin' weird... Doctor way back called it a paradoxical effect I think... eh, either way I fuckin' love this shit.

I love hiking but I don't think I could do more than 7-8 miles (with maybe 3-5 uphill) while chain smokin' dutches. Sober I could probably hit a 20-mile trek with a 50lb pack, smoking? Nahhhhh, I wouldn't make it far.


Where'd you go on your little excursion, if you don't mind me asking. There's plenty of hiking here in Maryland, but in the Southern portion I stick to the opportunities are few and far between (I mean, they're nice but are fairly short, definitely not awe-inspiring and feel way too repetitive... like nothing changes every time you hit a trail or a "Maryland mountain").

I ran into a black bear with a few friends out in WV a few years back. Scary. As. Fuck, I tell you what. It false charged twice and me and my buddy just stood there wavin' our arms and screamin' our voices hoarse like madmen. I don't think it would've went for the second charge if the three girls we were with lost their shit and ran the opposite direction.


Scary fuckin' situation, man, but I do love bears and wolves and foxes and shit. Wildcats and mountain cats are beautiful, fun to watch but not to be close enough to interact with. You can't predict those fuckers, man... bears and wolves, either, I guess I just fear bobcats more than I do a lone wolf or two. If I ran into a pack of Timbers like on The Grey, though? Shiiiiiiiit, I'd be dead before midnight.
