Yeah thats how it works. As long as they're not going through a proxy, VPN or Tor etc. then the IP that gets logged is the IP assigned that person by their ISP. To get a new IP, all you need to do is restart your router though. I started reading this thread backwards so I have no idea what we're talking about, I just thought I'd chime in some knowledge.

It's impossible to access Bluelight through a Proxy.

Fukkit. Lost wot I posted for... dunno really. Either way I concur with SHM that this kinda shit has Head_Funk written all over it. There's damn good reason he's utterly permabanned forever. For those that don't recall - he went waaaaaaaaaay beyond "comedic" trollery and is best known for trolling RIP threads. If memory serves, it was trolling the shit outta MTGG's (genuine EADD legend from yesteryear who also happened to be CCFs longterm fella - and one who treated her right at that)/ Tragically he died from a GBL OD (presumably involving other substances) years back now. The rest is (horrid) history. That H_F prick has a bit of a bee in his bonnet for CCF and knows damn well he's banned on sight so would make sense to cause one shitstorm of a post, upset a great many people, take the ban then sit back and enjoy the fallout.

Got no evidence for this due to being first time I've signed in a couple days and not checked staff stuffs yet. This trhead just leapt out at me cos CCF is one of those I have a lotta time for, got on with from Day One and can but hope she gets to the point where she can see - and deal - with her addiction issues before this thread becomes a reality.

I believe he died from alcohol, only (asphyxiation on vomit). I was with Helen for a year, and we lived together, so when I heard this news I felt pretty fucking sick. I want to know who started this thread... Anyway, she's alive, which is all that matters.

/OT Strangely, I was just thinking, in light of the thread about ColtDan, and FoolsGold's I'm leaving thread, that we should have a thread to pay tributes to each other before something awful happens to require it, like a death or a person needing to cut BL out of their life.. Maybe a thread called 'Why I Love ...'

I think there was some thread specifically for people to be all nice to each other and if I remember correctly it hilariously turned into a massive argument and got closed.
