ok so like i know coke is supposed to be addicting and all that but like last time i did it was 3 months ago and for some reason that last time i just totally didnt want to do it anymore, just like that. its not like i got sick of it or was tryin to quit, i was just like "ok im cool on that now" and had no desire to do it again. im not tryin to brag, but this just seems odd to me. heh maybe im just lucky or too good at handling my shit. anyone else ever expirence n e thing like this?

Sorry to bust your bubble but your experience is rather common. The VAST majority of people that try drugs do not become addicts just as most people who drink don't become alcoholics. Unfortuantely, the minority that do overindulge and fuck up there lives ruin it for others.

you should feel lucky, ufortinatly i am one that cant handle it and become addicted,it has taken me 7 months in a program that had pbt's and ua's 2 times a week to get me semi clean, but im still trying i have relapsed a few times latly. all the drugs and pills i have have done have fucked with my head big time also. anyway just letting ya know that your one of the lucky ones.

I know coke makes a lot of people depressed after using it. It's happened to me and a lot of my friends, after we come down we feel like shit because we did such a "bad" drug. I'm sure its a combination of the horrific comedown + smashing your morals. Coke doesn't really appeal to you until you have more than some crap ass 1/4g. Get a T or 8ball and its a lot more fun :)

Morals are personal, ethics are community. Is doing coke unethical? Yes. Is it immoral? You be the judge. Why do you feel bad about doing something that you know isn't wrong? Do you cry and get depressed when you go a little over the speedlimit? You're breaking the law, you're doing something unethical when you speed. Come on now... Don't be one of these weak people programmed by society right and wrong, you make your own right and wrong, we all make personal choices and those are our choices.

Whoa, I disagree, I don't think any drug use (presuming the circumstances are otherwise ethical) is 'unethical'. I was really surprised to read that, Deus!
To the original poster, well, the first time I did coke, I thought it was pretty lame and I didnt have any desire to do it again or to do more that night (amazingly we did not finish the gram we had, between my ex and me).
Since then, though, I have developed more of an appreciation for coke (though it's still a weak, semi-shitty drug IMO), because I've gotten better coke and, even more importantly, I've injected coke, which as an OD'er will tell you, is really the most valid use of cocaine. As you experience better coke, and if you ever come to smoke or bang it, you will understand it's appeal more, most likely.
Regardless, though, it's basically impossible to get addicted to a drug after using a drug once or twice. Anyone who tells you that is full of shit. Habitual use is what breeds addiction, not one time or very occasional use.

That's what I was saying, morals differ from person to person. Unfortunately, most of the U.S. has been taught cocaine is one of the worst possible drugs around. I was just saying, it's not uncommon for people to be depressed after using it their first time. I was at first, but I changed as I was educated more on drugs and such.

I disagree. You must be talking about PHYSICAL addiction, and because there is no physical addiction involving coke, only physical symptoms manifested by pyschological addiction, one could theoretically get addicted with one use. Supposing one's first try with Cocaine was incredible, thrilling, etc, then it could be possible for that person to be addicted with just one try. Happened to me with Meth years ago.
