CBD Megathread

the same with with me nowaydays some say it helps.

You can try it, but it's not near enough to have me be able to use THC. The only way I can use THC is if I'm very drunk or on a lot of benzos. I've tried all kinds of cannabinoids mixed with THC, none help.

However, I can tolerate D8-THC pretty well, actually, and have used it a lot since finding out about it almost two years ago.

i have to get tolerance to it when i have not consumed for longer periods or use really low dose. same with tabacco these days but this stuff stays hard on the body nonetheless.

i hate to smoke when im drunk, benzos would work though.

Just confirmed that a close friend is having a huge success preventing regularly occurring migraines using CBD. Roughly a 50% reduction by simply using it as a preventative at around 250mg of CBD per dose (a day).

The process seems pretty simple. CBD+HCL, extract with sodium sulfate = both d9 and d8 THC in somewhat equal portions. Does anyone have any experience with this? I have more to say and some questions but I wanted to put some feelers out to see if anyone has experimented with this. Since you can now buy pure cbd, and hemp cbd extracts legally in all states you would think this would be an interesting method for obtaining THC, both medicinally and non.

I will do if you're used to THC or smoking weed.

Anyone know what dose(s) you're supposed to take of CBD? Like in mg?

i was in the same boat but pushing through and smoking heavier amounts has allowed me to regain control and enjoy cannabis again instead of fucking out and having a bad anxiety trip. Tolerance plays a big part but also mentality a bit try to breathe realize cannabis is indeed a super intense drug but your are in control of your own mind. Try avoid thinking about psychedelics and their effects while on the cannabis to try stop those neural connections lighting up and making you trip even harder.

Weed with no tolerance is very intense. regain that tolerance over a month and it becomes alot of fun again.

I prefer smoking good quality CBD bud, probably the best weed to smoke imho. Its a bit rougher and tastes hempish but its got a good vibe and feels good and different than hash.

do they have migraines related to various things or by any chance is it from perfume/chemicals?

I use cbd as a preventative i dont take as much as that though it does seem to help unless im over exposed to the list of chemicals that fuck me up

I mean I quit weed over covid and that specific brand isn't available anymore, but I think it roughly had 20% CBD, and you can get similar in my area. I used to take hemp oil with CBD oil as well, for general pain, hand pain due to work and muscle fatigue it worked quite well. There was a spray as well. Only problem with oil is you can misjudge the dose and get yourself pretty high once it kicks in. These were all legal products available at the liquor store in Canada.

I take magnesium bisglycinate regularly but not necessarily for weed anxiety. I think it is helpful to take in general because many people just don't get enough in their diets and the effects of less magnesium can definitely be anxiogenic

Ya I think maybe weed can depletes things like magnesium similar to N2O preventing Vitamin B12 absorbption although bit different than depleting it but same end result lol.

I'm in that weird middle camp, THC can tip me into anxiety fast unless everything else in my life is perfectly balanced (which, let's be real, it rarely is). What helped me dial it back without cutting cannabis out completely was leaning harder into full-spectrum CBD.

Wouldn't say it's a magic fix, but it's definitely part of my "keep it sane" toolkit now.
