just a quick kitchen chemistry question...
caustic soda:
im planning on using this, it says on the bottle "sodium hydroxide 99". Do i need to go for the pure shit (like from photography supplies etc) or settle for this? does it have too many impurities?
How does it compare to your american "red devil lye" or whatever?
