Cause and Effect

If everything is equal
everyone posesses the same potential
I can be better then no one but myself
learning is the process of understanding
Something which I already know

So as I teach
I understand what is already learnt
I am no different to anyone else
nor am I the same
arrogance teaches nothing
while modesty denies my imagination

Intellect flows like currency
a hidden map for hidden fallacies
show me peace
but show me suffering
for I have been offered life
as death as its fee

I don't choose my thoughts
nor do my thoughts choose me
both are helpless beyond my control
but it is control that makes me helpless
I write this in response to my lack of control
As is the effect of having no cause.
