Cat or Dogs, its war in EADD

So we have a poll running in EADD (European and African Drug Discussion)

We have a problem in that true to most other efforts at polling this else where its pretty much a 50/50 split.

I'm a dog lover so clearly would love all you wonder full Australian people to vote for dogs.

I even have a Labradoodle called Spoon and, a I'm sure you know the breed originated in good old Aus, so pop over to EADD and place you vote, dog lovers clearly encouraged ;)
 
If you have one of each, try this.

Put each in the boot of your car for say.. an hour at different times. When you open the boot, which one is happiest to see you? Now THAT is unconditional love.

(Before anyone jumps down my throat... can I just say.. I have never and would never do this - nor do I want anyone to actually do this..OK!)

cats are more likely to go out and hunt native animals etc.

id rather have birds and native critters around the house than a selfish cat.
 
Dogs are 100 times more intelligent. Ever seen cats being used for anything to assist us humans? They look nice but apart from that there isnt anything else. Not to say I dont like them though. How is this related to harm reduction? Pretty sure itd get closed soon.
 
I love my cat, just like to pat it and relax.
But I love my dog, he's so fun, he actually responds to me, he shows that he loves me for who I am, and we can chill out too.

It's just my cat is so cute, my dog slobbers everywhere.
Cats are pretty selfish, but I see a cat, I go crazy and give it a full massage.
I don't really do the same with dogs, I just give him a good ruff around, good pat on the back, and I'm done.


My cat killed a possum yesterday, and kills lots of birds.
My dog at worst, will bark in the middle of the night, and with a "SHUT UP EJ!" he's done.

I guess now I put it like this, I like my dog a lot.
But I couldn't choose one or the other.
 
I have no problems with cats, its the owners of cats that shit me.

I have a half acre block, fully fenced to keep IN my dog. I have heaps of native trees to attract birds. I have bird baths so they can drink. And I also have the neighbours f*ckin cats sitting under my bird baths trying to catch birds.

I cant, and as a person who loves my dog and wants to protect it just open the front door and let it go for a walk where it wants. So why do cat owners think its ok to leash their pet on the environment?
