Look, it's okay to be reclusive, it's okay to not like casual sex, but it's not okay to be so misanthropic you think that everyone is terrible, except the few people you already know, who, after all, were mostly chosen at random. First of all, that doesn't make any sense; what kind of luck would make you run into the only good people in the world?

Incidentally, one antidote for this way of thinking is to read a book, or several. Preferably literary fiction, e.g.

If you keep using your past relationships as a crutch, I'm concerned you won't try as hard to find a new one--which is obviously what you're after. The problem isn't that nobody enjoys casual sex, it's that you don't like the idea. You're not required to be like anyone else. There are people who like Insane Clown Posse, but I'm not going to try to understand it.

If I am not attracted to the person both sexually, and emotionallty it is not that enjoyable for me. I do not use apps or websites as there are way too many fake profiles, scammers, liars/user/parasite/desperate types, and super dodgy people on them.

Some of the best sex I ever had was casual. Sure, an emotional connection is even better, but it's not necessary in every situation. Some people are just great at sex. That was my attitude in my 20s.

Funny how things change. I don't even want sex anymore. Men did a good job at turning me off eventually.

I would like to repeat the recommendation for literary fiction, not self-righteous ecoterrorists and puerile window-licking through ancient East Asia.

Sometimes PnP (heterosexual) is best with a complete stranger. Inhibitors are non existent and it builds as well as compounds the excitement
 
By casual I think of hookups with strangers. I've never been able to do it. My sex partners have always been friends, at least. The few times I tried to do NSA / stranger sex, my anxiety was so high and I felt no connection. Also the sex was just bad. My impression of people who hookup is that they are able to compartmentalize their sexuality from the rest of their being. They can just satisfy sex without needing an emotional component. For me, if my heart's not in it, then there won't be any action. Also I feel like having fuck buddies at least lets you get to know each other's preferences so the sex has a chance to get better.
 
First u ask the question, why are we as individuals and as a culture so interested in sex? then this topic becomes easier to navigate than if one were viewing this whole thing from the lens of the ego, the desires, and culture. We do have ego, desire, and belong to a culture, but why should one be conditioned by it? But I do not go for casual sex as it just never seemed a real thing for me, or a thing worth persuing. Because I do not want that. I would love to have sex with a woman I truly love and respect tho and that would be fucking fantastic *_* this is just the brain I was given and how I think.

Maybe he means to say that the longer you're in a physical relationship with someone, the better you get to know what does it for them, but that isn't always the case because some people might not be able to comfortably discuss their sexual needs, or might not know themselves well enough sexually to know what they like.
