Real quick like...
As we have already discussed, fear of flying can often lead to a small script for Benzo's.
I went in to my doc. today for my checkup (Insurance red tape) and decided to try the "WTC/Fear of Flying Stress" thing.
Worked like a charm...
I told him my uncle was in the North tower when it got hit... I gave him the textbook description of acute anxiety, loss of sleep, etc..I also told him that I had to fly to NY for the funeral, but, since I am SO afraid to fly I didn't know what I would do.
Walked out with a script for Ambien and a script for 12 Xanax, .5mg each.
Sure the Xanax will only last a day or two...but I've got insurance, may as well use it.

If you have insurance I think you should really try and cash in on this one...I heard a shrink on the radio today talking about all the 'anxiety attacks' people are suffering because of the terrorists.

It's true! This is the time to act... with the dead being laid to rest, you have a good month or two to use the "my dad/unclue/mother/etc worked in the North tower" line - see, you not only have the flight anxiety deal working on your side, but you also have the sympathies of the doctor that you lost someone in the trajic act of terror ...
Some may see this as "wrong" - but I don'treally think so... the events that happened onthe 11th were unthinkable, horrible, and crimes against humanity - but still, if making mention of it, and maybe changing minor details (ie you had a family member working there) is going to get you drugs, I don't think there is anything wrong... of course I do ask that as you take these drugs you remember those that died!
If you wanted to take it a step further, I have heard some people getting benzos simply on the premis that you're constantly scared something badwill happen...

Partykid-go to your "normal/regular" doctor-he/she can easily and will willingly pescribe you scripts for benzos.....

Hey I called my doc to tell him that I have been having really bad tension headaches from all that has been happening in the USA. He said he understood my problem and called in 100 Fioricet and 100 Xanax .5 with 2 refills on each. WHOOO HOOO!!!!
So I took your wonderful advice and now I have some more goodies ; ) How do you like that Spedly?? Jealous??
