I wanted to ask if anyone wants to share or explain the carpet farming aspect of uppers. This is when someone has been using crack/coke/speed/etc. and weather or not the supply has run out, the searching of the carpet/floor begins. Every spec examined, and just OCD like searching of the floor for "that piece that must have dropped or fallen"..

I know some of you know what i mean...... Why can one side of your brain say "their nothing down here, but maybe over there..."

hours can be lost, dignity out the window.... someone share ur exp.
 
stims have that vibe to them of doing pointless shit over and over

my experience... when amped up you somewhy have the motivation to do little stuff that usually you wouldn't bother at all. when i do ritalin i usually clean up my place cuz it makes it pleasant, not a chore.

coke tho is different imo, it doesn't make me focused i just feel like i'm on top of the world and by the end of a session i haven't done nothing but talking about how great i feel and more coke

meth seems like it does have that side to it a lot, cant speak personally tho as i never done meth
 
Used to do this shit all the time when I was really bored and didn't have weed. I'd get a heat lamp and graze over the carpet for up to an hour at least... One time I was searching under my bed and found a perfectly intact nug of some super fire Cali OG that a friend brought one summer. Needless to say I smoked that thing up, savoring every second lmao.
 
I only find stuff on my rugs or carpets when I'm not looking for it at the time. So I have given up carpet farming.
 
Only ever found some "floor bowls" as there known in my casa.

Imagine it's a bad idea to shoot up chunks of deodorant you find on your carpet after a coke binge.. lol smh
 
Not stims but I remember a few months back finding a 5mg Oxycodone IR under my bed, not much but I was going through WD at the time so it was quite a good find :)
 
I go through a similar thing when I smoke heroin on foil: when it's all finished i'll try to smoke every little chunk of h that is left on the foil knowing that it won't get me any higher (if there is even any that is) but I still do it. at least I get to taste it.
 
only did it with weed years ago.
There's no pills on my floor. Trust me. I'd know. Probably pick it up and pop it in my sleep.
 
Found a 5mg Adderall IR a few months ago under my bed. I've also found little bits of weed, crushed up tablets, and some very small shards.
 
I was in rehab with a friend of an NFL player addicted to cocaine and he would buy an ounce or two. Then at some point he would throw/scatter a few grams onto his floor. Knowing that inevitably he would be carpet farming.. this way he could have that "YESSS!!" moment wen he went searching..
 
I honestly never got the whole crack thing,speedy shit just doesn't appeal to me but I always used to laugh at the fuckers carpet farming in parts of the room where they knew good and well they were never even near with cain.We used to call it landscaping.
 
Yes, been there with crack many years ago.. Managed to find a 20 once? Melted onto a new skateboard deck.. Not sure how the fuck that happened.. Aside that, best things I've found were pills stashed under my mattress (I think I found 80mg Hydrocodone, and a few xanax once?) How the fuck that happened, too.. Really stumps me.

I saved my cottons all the time.I wouldn't just leave them damp.I left a few units on the cotton from a 3 bag/cap or bigger shot.I don't touch uppers.I'd wait till I had at least 8 or 10 cottons if I could.Saved my ass more times than I can count.
 
I found a quarter gram of tar tied tight in a bit of balloon on my floor while I was carpet surfing for meth. shot my first super speedball that morning.
