I find it fascinating, I'm skeptic of his claims but yet just immersed into Don Juan's world. Anyone else like this kind of stuff? I realize it's not that it's completely original, many eastern religions had similar linkages. But this does float its own boat in a different way.

I've read that 'Teachings of Don Juan' book where he finds the place to sit and talks to the dog (I don't know if there's more than one book) but I'm fairly confident it's fiction. Or at least it's not real, in the same sense HST's work isn't real.
It's interesting though, people shouldn't let that detract from the enjoyment/thoughts the book provokes.

Ive read everything by him, Pretty good stuff. To be taken seriously, but to the known limit.))) got to have an open mind to get it though.
