carisoprodol dosage/time of onset?

This is my first time attempting to use carisoprodol and I took 1050 milligrams about an hour ago. I feel nothing at all. Should I take more? How much more? I was reading some reports on erowid that mention very long times for effects to be noticed (up to 1 & 1/2 hours) but the majority felt it within 45 minutes.. what should i do??

shit, don't you have tolerance to anything like alcohol, GHB, phenibut or something? those would be cross-tolerant

aside from that, 1050mg is a pretty big dose. i'm kind of a lightweight when carisoprodol is the drug, and 1050mg and i'm a total mess. most people would agree that dose SHOULD do something. i know i can feel the effects from 750mg in 20-30 minutes, and that's enough of a dose for me.

though, perhaps most of the effects from carisoprodol are from meprobamate (its metabolite) and perhaps you lack the enzyme necessary for this metabolic pathway? idk if thats even possible, just a wild guess.

well seeing as your post was over an hour ago i guess that either you didnt feel anything or took more and passed the f out lol

its a shame anyway man, carisoprodol is a very fun downer
 
I have never tried carisoprodol. It seems like a mild painkiller similar to codeine maybe? Idk..

As for the low tolerance you've mentioned above. That's not a bad thing at all!!

It's good to have your own knowledge about it so you can have fun knowing you don't need that much.
 
I like Soma, its the best muscle relaxant out there......ime, it hit me within 15 minutes, then again, anything I ingest hits me within 15 minutes.

Also, 1050mgs is a big dose for your 1st time. ......my first dose of 350mgs had me feeling really good, kind of like a good sativa strain for me.

Did you receive the pills by prescription? Because there are some weak Somas out there on the street.
 
Yeah, soma used to be nice, it really kicked up other downer drugs when I took it. From my experience it hits in between 30mins and an hour and 15mins, faster if you were on benzos or some opiates. Also until you find your dose, you won't feel much. It's kinda like if you are used to taking 30mgs of oxycodone and you only have 20mgs. You don't end up feeling almost anything at all. But if you were to take 40mgs of oxycodone that would make you feel exponentially more than taking your regular 30mgs right? Once you find the right dose of carsidoprol you'll feel it and if you pass it you will wind up immobile.
