Cardiovascular and adderall: a heart to heart conversation (not an OD help thread)

I have been seeing such minimal information on adderall and the heart. The only thing I know is that during an OD, fatal or not, that all the same symptoms are listed. I was wondering what the depth of it is. If anyone has Input and theories, or facts...feel free to correct me or add your own input.

So far, from what I have came to understand, the heart is strained mostly after the comedown of a larger dose. But not during the duration of the dose. Blood pressure goes up as well, and pulse. Or the opposite sometimes happens; heart slows and blood pressure drops. I have noticed that For some this could be with small amounts, and for others, not until they push the limits with high amounts. But most of the time it always starts after a dose is wearing off. So does that mean it is caused by actual elevation of the drug?

Is this assumption accurate or is the heart elevated from the beginning of the release and it isn't felt or noticed because of the high? Or is it only noticed during the comedown because the stress has started to cause noticeable pain over time?

Does this mean that risk for heart attack is in fact not during the beginning of a dose release or peak, like most people would assume? First dose never concerns me. Neither does dose 8 hours later. I usually stop there and call it a fun day. But seldom, I will take a third, 8 hours later and regret it almost instantly. I am miserable for a few hours until I realize I am fine and past the danger zone and my heart calms. This doesn't seem to make sense anymore. Because from looking at the physical feelings alone, the greatest risk feels like the comedown with the chest tightness and breathing issues. Also easy to excite heart with just getting up and walking.

And then there is the variable of time and amount. Some people are feeling stress after only first dose of 20mg. Some after a whole day and night and 90mg. Some feel it twelve hours after first dose and accumulated 180mg. I am assuming we are all different. But does the heart really tolerate more with repeated exposure? I don't see this as plausible. Regardless of euphoria felt, I assumed that the heart would always react the same with the same milligrams.

And assuming that spacing doses to every 8-10 hours and only redosing after first adderall is out of system, a heart would be just fine and pushed no further than It was used to. But it seems that it doesn't matter. So I also am assuming that the heart is accumulating stress over the span regardless of how spaced anything is. Blood pressure or tingling is felt at the same time as heart acts up. Always felt around the same time.

So, basically. I am concluding that there is no way of knowing when a heart failure or stroke could happen. It could happen in first hour of the first dose, could happen in the middle of the day, or could happen 8 hours after last dose and adderall is no longer active.

The heart could going to fail at any time regardless of experience, tolerance, or mgs spread out over time.

I see so many people talking about their heart and chest and breathing when they come down or especially when redosing seems okay but then the comedown side effects started from the dose before. and they are freaked that dose will be too much for their already stressed heart.
I do to think it's normal to feel these effects and be alright about it after the day has passed and everything passed over without harm. I feel like crossing these boundaries purposely, is playing with life.
After doing this repeatedly it would weaken a heart am I right?

Do other stim drugs have these issues or just adderall? Because I have never experienced this issue before nor have I heard other people complain of it as widespread as adderall. And I have been pretty messed up in the past. I have done so much Ritalin back in the day. And never felt anything but fast heart occasionally. I haven't touched anything since, but I can remember everything and heart issues were not a concern.

What is even more concerning is when people describe the tingling and numb sensation as a body buzz. I was under the impression that it was not a good thing to have that feeling. It always meant blood pressure issue or heart problem. I am just starting to think that people aren't taking the whole chest pain and numb limbs thing seriously. I basically have seen the concept that if you live through the heart crisis, you had experienced, then it is Considered something normal that happens and it's not fatal. I am certain that the number of times the heart can take this is numbered.
Does everyoneexperience this cardiovascular trouble when coming down and at any level dose? Or is it only when heart can't take it any more stims so every time adderall is Eaten, even at much lower doses, the heart is stressed?
I am just randomly expressing thoughts and critical thinking, I guess.

Ugh, i accidentally dosed 80mg a few days ago, besides being up for 36 hours (which wasn't really an issue) i had my heart racing real fast and uncomfortably for some hours even after taking 3 1mg klonopins seperately spaced. Eventually i felt real weak, and nauseous and threw up violently and forced myself to eat something small and go to sleep when i got home and felt a bit better.

But it was fucking painful, my heart was being stabbed at, i'm surprised nowone mentions the billion negative effects of amphetamines and only emphasize opiates since their known for "physical addiction" making amphetamines sound mild, they may not be physically addictive but they come with their own negatives that opiates don't have. Ugh adderall is a love and hate relationship.

I have a theory for every person that doesn't use adderall cautiously. And goes full force into binges that are way too often. A lot of the problems come from lack of realization of how serious it effects the body.
One of those long days, shorty after you take that one last dose. you'll start to feel chest pressure and hard to breath pressure. Then your arms will start to tingle. This usually happens after about a week or two when 45 mg at once needs to start you off, with a few 20 mg redoses a few hours later. You will know when you're going too fast when a normal 24 hour max dose will be taken in a 12 hour period.

I would start taking vitamins and supplements. And maybe magnesium and tyrosine when not taking adderall, to help lower tolerance.
B6 and b12 keeps your nerves healthy. Make sure you have potassium, zinc, and iron (only if you know you need iron)
Calcium and vitamin D and protein for amino acids.

A huge risk of taking so much in a short time is risk of serotonin syndrome and it makes you feel like you're going to die. And it is In Fact fatal. I think it's one of the reasons people think they are having a heart attack. It causes the same symptoms of heart failure that people fear, and they don't realize it.
Basically all of these vitamin deficiencies, cause horrible side effects. And the more you binge, with the less time in between and less health Maintenance ,the more it will happen with shorter times In between.

Doing this drains your body and fries your essentials. Stressing your body because it is drained of the supplements that allow it to function properly. So that one last dose is taken and half way before it kicks in the tingles start and the chest gets tight. And what's worse is that another dose is going to kick in and speed you up even more, working on an already exhausted and chemically stressed body. Then the next 12 hours is a miserable hell ridden panic.

Most people just believe that they are having a simple heart attack due to stimulant stress on the heart, but it's generously contributed to the many essentials you are depleting from your bodily processes and systems, creating many individual issues, and then overloading with adderall. In the end, somewhat worse because you're whole body is working extra hard to function and putting even more stress on your heart.

Most of the the issues that arise from vitamin and supplement deficiencies, still cause high blood pressure, and rapid heart rates, (sometimes permanent) nerve damage, trouble breathing , chest tightness, tingling in the hands and feet, over heating, dizziness, pale cold skin, all of which could or could not mean heart failure. The dopamine that is drained from your brain, receptors that are depleted, surges of serotonin, and your over-driven CNS is flipping too.

I think over all, heart attack on it's own is not likely. But the effects of a long binge with one day breaks and then another day of excessive use, causes serious health issues when the body is not properly attended to. Combined with lack of sleep, And longevity of abuse, actually puts stress on the heart and the brain, unrelated no longer, to how many milligrams you may have taken.

I think after a few times of this people tend to learn their limits and start neglecting the idea of a three day binge.

I was failing to realize the reasoning of my issues, and only related them to amount of Adderall taken....I didn't think of the issues being my fried body. Even when I took 60mg, my regular prescribed dose, then waited 10 hours AFTER comedown and took another 60mg, my body went into the worst episode ever. I had taken 150 mg before, with zero problems. But after so long, my body needed replenishing and a good long break that lasted longer than sleeping 12 hours.

I think that people need to realize the least of our concerns when we have these terrible symptoms is not just heart failure. It's actually the whole body on stress overload, pushing the limits and every part of your body making your heart work twice as hard for every problem. I am definitely keeping myself healthy for now on and will never binge again.

These are just my findings and analyzed theories, In maybe less sophisticated vocabulary as the more experienced veterans.

Ahh, I also take fish oil! I take a crap load of vitamins these days just to keep in tip top shape. I have had no problems since, but I don't dose like that or binge like that.....but I can add that my medicine is more effective and feels better at lower doses. I was taking my 30xr in the am at first and feeling okay effects...but making sure my body and brain have the right supplements to keep up with the daily adderall wear, I feel so much better, focused, motivated, and happier!

Of course I take all supplements before bed! I do not mix before dosing for better highs! All it does it flood dopamine again, and just increase tolerance....not good. Counter-production at it's best.
