I have been seeing such minimal information on adderall and the heart. The only thing I know is that during an OD, fatal or not, that all the same symptoms are listed. I was wondering what the depth of it is. If anyone has Input and theories, or facts...feel free to correct me or add your own input.
So far, from what I have came to understand, the heart is strained mostly after the comedown of a larger dose. But not during the duration of the dose. Blood pressure goes up as well, and pulse. Or the opposite sometimes happens; heart slows and blood pressure drops. I have noticed that For some this could be with small amounts, and for others, not until they push the limits with high amounts. But most of the time it always starts after a dose is wearing off. So does that mean it is caused by actual elevation of the drug?
Is this assumption accurate or is the heart elevated from the beginning of the release and it isn't felt or noticed because of the high? Or is it only noticed during the comedown because the stress has started to cause noticeable pain over time?
Does this mean that risk for heart attack is in fact not during the beginning of a dose release or peak, like most people would assume? First dose never concerns me. Neither does dose 8 hours later. I usually stop there and call it a fun day. But seldom, I will take a third, 8 hours later and regret it almost instantly. I am miserable for a few hours until I realize I am fine and past the danger zone and my heart calms. This doesn't seem to make sense anymore. Because from looking at the physical feelings alone, the greatest risk feels like the comedown with the chest tightness and breathing issues. Also easy to excite heart with just getting up and walking.
And then there is the variable of time and amount. Some people are feeling stress after only first dose of 20mg. Some after a whole day and night and 90mg. Some feel it twelve hours after first dose and accumulated 180mg. I am assuming we are all different. But does the heart really tolerate more with repeated exposure? I don't see this as plausible. Regardless of euphoria felt, I assumed that the heart would always react the same with the same milligrams.
And assuming that spacing doses to every 8-10 hours and only redosing after first adderall is out of system, a heart would be just fine and pushed no further than It was used to. But it seems that it doesn't matter. So I also am assuming that the heart is accumulating stress over the span regardless of how spaced anything is. Blood pressure or tingling is felt at the same time as heart acts up. Always felt around the same time.
So, basically. I am concluding that there is no way of knowing when a heart failure or stroke could happen. It could happen in first hour of the first dose, could happen in the middle of the day, or could happen 8 hours after last dose and adderall is no longer active.
The heart could going to fail at any time regardless of experience, tolerance, or mgs spread out over time.
I see so many people talking about their heart and chest and breathing when they come down or especially when redosing seems okay but then the comedown side effects started from the dose before. and they are freaked that dose will be too much for their already stressed heart.
I do to think it's normal to feel these effects and be alright about it after the day has passed and everything passed over without harm. I feel like crossing these boundaries purposely, is playing with life.
After doing this repeatedly it would weaken a heart am I right?
Do other stim drugs have these issues or just adderall? Because I have never experienced this issue before nor have I heard other people complain of it as widespread as adderall. And I have been pretty messed up in the past. I have done so much Ritalin back in the day. And never felt anything but fast heart occasionally. I haven't touched anything since, but I can remember everything and heart issues were not a concern.
What is even more concerning is when people describe the tingling and numb sensation as a body buzz. I was under the impression that it was not a good thing to have that feeling. It always meant blood pressure issue or heart problem. I am just starting to think that people aren't taking the whole chest pain and numb limbs thing seriously. I basically have seen the concept that if you live through the heart crisis, you had experienced, then it is Considered something normal that happens and it's not fatal. I am certain that the number of times the heart can take this is numbered.
Does everyoneexperience this cardiovascular trouble when coming down and at any level dose? Or is it only when heart can't take it any more stims so every time adderall is Eaten, even at much lower doses, the heart is stressed?
I am just randomly expressing thoughts and critical thinking, I guess.
