Today Dec 6, and precisly 2:05PM I was in a car accident. I was slowing down, almost to a complete stop to turn left onto a street. Right as I started to hit the gas to move and take the left, a car behind me going 45-50mph slammed into the back of causing my to fly into a hill-bank causeing me to fly forward and hit my head on my sterring wheel. I blacked out after that. I wake up to my girlfriend trying to open my side door on the phone with 911. (I was going to pick her up) I opened my eyes and I had "shutter" vision and everything was flashing fast like when i looked into the sky. My neck was in alot of pain where I could not move it. I already have a cracked rib from before and it is not more broken than before so I am noe reliving that pain again. Once the ambulance and fire department came, they got into the car and strapped me up in a neck brace and had to cut me out of my seatbelt. They pulled me into a hard lift and took me to the ambulance and hooked me up to an IV. A copwent through my car and found my glasses casses. He comes into the ambulance to talk to me asking why there is a straw and razor blades in my glasses holder. I told i used the razors to cut wires when i fix xboxes. And I told him I always chew on straws i guess I just put it in there. After my dad pulled some strings and had tha evidence pushed away as if they never found it. I dont do coke anymore so that is about 10months old. Anyways, I go to the hospital and they give me a CAT scan to check my head/neck. I get back and they IV'd dalli's into me which did not help enough at first so they dosed me again leaving me in a little bit of a standable pain. They also injected me with Ativan muscle relaxer (2mg). After they checked my levels, the sent me home.
I get home and get my scripts filled. They give me 30 5/500 Hydrocodone and 10 1mg Ativan. I already have a opiate tolerance to a some what high level. As in a 40mg Opana sets me into a good mood. But this medicine they have me on now is not helping for the pain at all. I still feel the Dilli's some what, but I just took 25mg Hydro about 40min ago and feelig very good. But the thing is I dont want to need to take 5-7 of my hydro's just to get some what pain relife. I know tomarrow morning I am oging to really feel this pain, and I know i'm going to suffer because my hydro's wont help because I cant just do as much as I need cause then I will be screwed when I'm all out. I'm going to take 1 every 4 hours, and once I run out I'm out. But what if I'm in the pain im in now down the road when I run out. Should I tell them to up my dose because the 5/500 dont help? Or should I wait a couple days and call my doctor and tell him.
