I wanted to publicly acknowledge what a wonderful, caring, giving soul Captain.Heroin is. I have a hard time trusting people and what advice they have to give. I have a pretty complex medical history and drug use background and needed help trying to get some stuff figured out. CH admist his busy schedule of life, bl and everything, took the time to talk to me and help me figure out a plan of action that I need to take.

He has always been there for me and has always been there for everyone on the board that needs help. Certainly a special person who cares for others that he doesn't even know.

I can not express enough how much his wisdom and understanding has helped me through a very stressful time.

Bluelight is very lucky to have you here.

you are one of those persons as well. You care and give to those you don't even know. Offer knowledge and advice from your experience, you have helped me as well.

Captain Heroin is simply AWESOME!

He thinks things through, is compassionate, knowledgeable, intelligent and is always there when I'm in need. Hell, I remember PM'ing him about some nonsense female problem I had. He didn't blow me off and offered sound advice.

I can't say enough about him. Y'all should see the commitment he displays in the 'behind the scenes' action here on BL. He is fair and on top of things.

My biggest appreciation is his contributions to the Suicide Thread. He steps in without fear and you can feel his heart.

Yeh you know what I don't know why I never really thought about it but CH is likely one of the best people we have on this forum and it does seem he goes underappreciated.

I also see people challenge him quite a bit and I think its merely due to how intelligent he comes off.

But aside from his knowledge and compassion the man always comes off extremely and I mean EXTREMEly professional. Almost like bluelight needs to start paying him for what he does on here lol.

I also gave him shit a while ago about his suboxone habit not being = to "clean" and that was quite rude of me. I can look back now and say that was an assholish comment to make. So I apologize CH.
I've been a lot less heated/angry these last few months and much more lovable/accepting of people (not sure why I think it has to do with accepting my own weaknesses) so thanks captain for what you do on here. I just sometimes wish you spent a bit more time in TDS specifically. =]

^^^^ awwwwwwww that was sweet. warms my heart. You definitely proved that you are a man by stepping up and apologizing. We all have our moments and good thing about life we all change :)

You as well have some great insite for some of the younger persons that come in here for fairy tale BS and you tell them straight up how it is. Sometimes that is needed.

:D Aww thanks TINK, TAoW, OD, Swerlz, and Bo Jangles! This means a lot to me.

Bluelight is lucky to have us all. <3

I have been meaning to get off of Suboxone but would have failed anyways as I was in excruciating pain without real pain medicine (minus a brief few hours during surgery) for the first 3 months of this year. I do want to discontinue buprenorphine use. I actually tapered down to about 1/4th to 1/8th of what I had to use just to somewhat keep it together during these 3 months.

i must concur i always see him willing to help anybody and be there for people and hes helped me afew times thru my getting clean part of my addiction so thanks CH u really good dude i wish u the best

Massive love and appreciation for C.H!! You are an awesome guy, an awesome mod, and an awesome friend. So glad to have crossed paths with you in this life :) <3 *hugs*

So appreciated! He goes out of his way, going above and beyond the call of what is required over &overfor members & staff as his ordinary standard operating procedure. Awesomeness incarnate :) <3

Yes CH your posts often stand out as being informative and compassionate. I suspect you have had a wide range of life experiences that you are able to extract wisdom from and communicate it to others. Thank you :)

Thanks everyone! You all are awesome people.

Sometimes it's hard to really know how many people I'm helping out (not to mention all the other staff members who are doing just the same :)) and this helps me remember. :D

^ what a thread! CH has also been there for me, and what can i say.....

what a guy :)

I love this dude, as much as I love any bluelighter. He's sent me some key PMs that helped make me feel better, and he's one of the most understanding fellows I've ever met.

Kudos to Captain, a lovely caring soul ;)

PS: are you happy with your XBox 360? =D
