The message in the cartoon - that you should test your pills - is good, but who is to say that E is so much better than plain old amphetamines. As long as you know what you are doing and realize the effects you should be able to choose what you consume. The strip just reminds me of anti-drug propoganda. Put Uncle Sam in place of Captain E and maybe it would be.

Captain E is sheriff in Dope City, the capital of the state of Ecstasy. His major mission is to expose substances that pass themselves off as ecstasy as frauds. Hence the bad rep for amphetamines, who are, in fact, respected citizens of phenethylaminia, a neighbouring county. Their offspring moved to dope city, where they have attained the status of trailer trash.
