Everything I always do
Is a facet of not me
I twist, I turn, and love
and learn.
But it's something else through me.
I feel duress
As a man posessed
By every worldy whim
I never dive and disconnect
Me and my me just skim
The baser instincts
Packaged by God
Are all and all's alone
I've delved in higher matters
But the thoughts are not my own
The rage I feel is never mine
The lust diluted by thought
The love is intertwined with fear
and shame of all that's naught
The crux of I
Is that I die
The start implies the end
Along the way
I have to play
Like my life will never end
Even the angst oozing out
Is an adolescent all
Must let the you
and everyone
Know of life's crumbling safety wall
All that leaves is insanity
And insanity's so pure
It's accepting death and pain and less
While striving for more and more.
It's feeling all the lies
And hearing your emotions
And swimming through the light
Without actually seeing the ocean
It's seeing everything you know is right
And going your own pace
Isn't that what life is about
Carving your own face?
