Heroin Can't seem to draw a shot into the syringe properly... it ends up frothy/bubbly.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but every time I draw my dope through the cotton, the solution in the rig looks all frothy... and when I pull back away from the cotton with the needle, it goes "ssthh" like a sucking noise.

At any rate, I'm not able to get a shot that doesn't have a ton of bubbles in it. Why is this?

Also, second question... it seems I'm almost never able to register, even when I'm sure I'm in a vein. I know I'm in a vein because sometimes I just say "Fuck it" and push the plunger, and there is no pain and an instant rush as if I'd successfully hit a vein. But I'm almost never able to register. What does this mean?
 
Some dope just draws up more frothy and airy than others.. it depends on the batch, really. Just flick out all those bubbles and extra air. It can take a couple minutes, but it's not a big deal. And if you have a couple little bubbles left, it doesn't matter. Wont do anything. If you're having trouble drawing it up at all, you could just be getting very shitty dope, that's very cut.

As to why you're not able to register.. I don't know.. you're probably slipping out of the vein every time you try and pull back on the plunger to see if you're in. If you're not very steady, sometimes even a slight slight movement, can slip you out of the vein. And, why you sometimes don't feel pain and get the rush sometimes, that's just from being lucky Ha. You may have tried to register, slipped out, then went to just inject anyway and slipped back in, but that's not good practice.. because you will miss that way more often than not. You need to learn to register and hold the rig steady.
 
True that ive gotten smack that bubbles like what are saying amd just take ur time when finding a vein bro
 
I know, I need to be more patient. I'll keep practicing.

As for the frothy dope, I had a little more success by applying a little more downward pressure into the cotton. Before I wasn't really pressing down for fear of bending the needle.
 
Some dope gets bubbly and fizzy and hard to draw up, just keep playing with it or add more water. I had this happen several times. Instead of flicking the needle to get the air bubbles to the top try shaking up and down

I've never IV'd anything so double check this with people who know, but I'm 100% sure that adding propylene glycol will remove the foaming.

Injecting propylene glycol doesn't sound healthy 8)
