Cant pee whilst on MDMA

The other night I took pure MDMA. Once it had kicked in I drank a glass of water as i sweating, i needed to pee so went to the toilet and nothing happened, I was stood there for a while trying but it just didnt happen. Tried again half an hour later once again nothing happened. An hour later I finally managed to do (after a few minutes of waiting) it and the day after it was harder than normal to pee is it to look longer to come out than usual. Does anyone have any tips to make it happen normally?

I've had the same problem, not as often or severe as many people report however. I usually just sit down ( I'm a girl ), relax, run the water from the sink, and try to think of other things as I try to pee. Sometimes it'll happen in 30 seconds, sometimes after a few minutes but I have never been unable to make it happen lol sometimes it just takes a while.
 
Sitting down and relaxing, running water, running you hand in water, take a shower etc all can help. I find that the more you stress about not being able to go, the harder it is to go - ok in a home setting but awful in a club or bar etc
 
Focusing! Right when you think/feel you have to pee -- hold onto this thought. Go to the bathroom, relax, breath, think "PEE". If you're on the toilet for too long 20+secs time to leave and try again next time you're feeling the urge.
 
Sitting down ( even if you are a guy ) does help, and it is a side effect of the drug, it can be a problem, on a toxic level.

I always find, I drink a decent amount of water, sweat, don't have the urge to pee, then once I come down, I pee pretty much all night.... or at least that is the way it can feel.
 
Sometimes even sitting down wont help. It depends how much you have taken.
I've nearly been in panic once when I had to pee so much I thought I would pee myself any second. However I couldn't get anything out even if I sat on the toilet for 15 minutes. I was a bit scared I must say. Finally it just "worked".

My friends had the same problem, which they later countered by taking caffeine pills. Now they never have problems with peeing.

I'm not sure but I've read that mdma promotes the release of ADH and thats why its hard to pee. (and caffeine inhibits the release of ADH)

But ADH makes your kidney reabsorb water, which means it should never reach your urinary bladder in the first place.
So why would u then need to pee and why would it be a problem peeing when your urinary bladder is full if ADH affects the kidneys?

I'm not sure here...
 
Its just what happens when you take MDMA (to most people) usually what i do is use the stalls, i just sit down and try to "push" like you normally would when you pee, it just takes a good minute or two for it to finally come out.
 
vasconstriction and probably slight accompnying anxiety from the mdma is making you bladder resistant..

id just say dont take as much mdma when you dose or maybe have some booze with it (booze inhibits anti-diuretic hormone which in turn makes you pee).
 
I dont really have a problem with that, however it does come slower than if i was sober. Just focus on peeing, people got it right here.
 
I've had this once when I took 4 x 120mg (once, never again). I had drank like 1 liter of water but couldn't pee the whole f**king night. Then when I got home I had to pee so bad but I just couldn't. So I went sitting on the toilet trying to pee and meanwhile reading on the internet for solutions. I have found THE solution. The solution is to take your time, sit on the toilet and don't think about peeing at all! Just put your focus on your mobile, play a game or smething, read something which requires focus. Then suddenly after 10 minutes it felt like i was cumming and there came a huge burst of pee. This I had to do 4 times, in totla in took me 1 hour to empty myself. This is jus tmy story on this, but yeah, just focus on something else, dont think about peeing, dont force ti!!! and it will come :)
 
Not sure about MDMA being an antidiuretic? Haven't seen any research on it. I have had the same problem and have been using since late 2000. Used for about 1 x per month 2-4 pills per time and then backed down to quarterly, then not at all for about a year, then quarterly again, off and on.

I recall several years ago standing in the bathroom and got this thing in my head of seeing myself from outside my body and seeing it like a photograph that said 'waiting to pee.' Now, every time i try to pee, i get the same image in my head.

What I have found works is just use your hands to warm the area. Either do a Mr Myagi and rub your hands together till they are warm, place around your self, and let it warm up. This tends to work well for me. Using a warm washcloth around yourself tends to also work. Heat helps everything to relax, so that's probably going to be your best bet. I tend to 'turtle up' even if it's not cold wherever i'm at (usually home). Good luck!
 
Turn on some running water in the bathroom so you can hear it, close your eyes, and try to relax. The reason it's harder to pee on MDMA is that it increases ADH (anti-diuretic hormone), but I realize that wasn't your question.
