Opioids Cant find answer to this suboxone question

Hey guys...let me just go ahead and say that I AM SORRY if this is answered in another thread....I just cannot find it.

I took a sub (first time in a long time) this morning at 5am because I felt sick from wd and couldnt sleep. I took it also because I didnt think I was going to be able to find anything today to take because the guy I get them from is out.

Well it turns out I found some roxis and really want to take them tonight, but dont want to take it if I wont feel anything.

Now the piece of sub I took this morning has probably between 1/8 and 1/16th of the strip (very small amount).

With all that said will I be able to feel the roxis tonight? I heard sub only stays in your system for 8 hrs....but im not sure if this is correct. I am thinking since I took it so early this morning and such a little piece of it, that I will feel the roxis. I just wanna make sure before I waste my money!!

Thanks! Again im sorry if this is answered else where-I just couldnt find it- and my question is kinda unique (being that I took it only one day aka not an everyday user, small piece of it, and early in the am)
 
IME I have done it 5-8 hours after have taken a suboxone and did not feel anything from pills. I heard the rule of thumb is about 12 hours. But you said it is such a small piece that I don't even think you would have to wait that long. I would go for it!
 
So your saying since I took it at 5am I should be able to take it at 5pm this afternoon and be able to feel it? And im assuming the longer you wait...the more you will feel the opiate?
 
Was it under the tongue? In that case, 1/8th-1/16th of a strip meant only about one third got in your body. Your talking 0.25mg actually absorbed, MAX, so I guarantee you will feel the roxis 100%. In fact I would bet my first payment in over a month you will, so no worries.

But, this HAS been answered a thousand times, in fact someone asks at least once a week,"I took x amount of suboxone 23.5 hours ago, will I feel my rectal morphine?" For a basic timeline, just read the bupe megathread, and remember, unless you take it chronically, 24 hours is ~practically~ always sufficient, and usually 12 hours is fine, particlularly with smaller does.

You took such a small amount of suboxone that you will be fine. If you took a higher dosage of it I would say not to do any opiate so you don't waste your money!

No, you will feel it all NOW.Just take it, if you wish, 1/16th of a strip is a very small dose, in fact you can still feel norbupe at that dose!
 
Thanks for you help! Obviously I dont know much about sub and the only reason I took it is because I heard it doesnt make you go through withdrawals!

(still kills me that the only time I've been able to try oxymorphone was those damn opana er's, and the only way you can shoot them is that whole alcohol method, and after that, over half the pill was wasted, as I barely felt anything, then did it with another one, mixed it with a roxy, slammed it, and it was weaker than an old-school oc 80!!!)
