i wished you cared more
even though things
aren't quite the same anymore
you said you'd be there
to talk of problems and fears
that i'll face and have
so i called you one late evening
only to be turned away
will you blame yourself
if anything were to
happen to me?
would you be sad?
i doubt you would
since you were always detached
and you cared more for...
then i thought to myself
i should be stronger
and pick up the pieces in my life
because nothing is more important
than myself
what does not matter
is you
i know now, know better
than to try confide
in you anymore.
