Cannabis tea

So I ran out of ganja, smoked my buds but still had the stems. I've just heated some water and mixed it up with the stems, it tastes like weed, but I'm not sure I'll get high. Anyone has any experience making cannabis tea out of stems?
 
The cannabinoids (not that there are many in the stems) aren't water soluble. The tea won't get you high. You could try adding milk or cream to dissolve some of the THC, but don't get your hopes up.
 
Look on the bright side, you weren't gonna get high off stems anyway, at least you got some tasty weed flavoured tea :)
 
perhaps mixing those stems with a minimum amount of ethanol,soak and shake container for some time, filter...repeat with ethanol soak but i dont think it would be worth it...and drink the cannabinoid alcoholic solution
 
yes it tastes delicious. if you soak enough stems for long enough in hot enough water it will get you a slight buzz. but it takes a lot for that.
 
^^if the stems still have trichromes attached, then they might fall off and get suspended in the water, but thatd be it. I used to do it, and it works if you keep your stems nice and undisturbed, but barely. i really only did it for the taste
