When you say resin, are you referring to the heat/pressure produced stuff or something different? I've got access to the following stuff and have no idea which is better (oil, shatter, wax, budder). Dp all of these pretty much need dab rigs? nails?
You'll probably say it's waste. but when I get frustrated trying to use this stuff, could I just smear it on a rolling paper or roll tiny buds in this and hit them? About 4 years ago, I bought a quartz nail/dome attachment for one of my bongs and only ended up burning myself.
That moonrocks/oil/wac photo you posted - does the waxy concentrate become harder and easier to work with when it gets cold?
thanks
Tom
Instead of using trim or bud that has dried and cured, the term 'resin' or 'live resin' refers to the extraction that has been done with freshly frozen plant material (harvest, and instantly freeze it, then process it into BHO, PHO, bubble, etc). The flavour is very strong, and it smells like sniffing a plant in full bloom.
You could use it to slick papers, but dabbing/vaping it is much better in terms of health. I can do 10-12 small dabs that are in total about .25-.5g and that gets me totally stoned all day and night, and I don't cough as much.
With oil, the glassy hard stuff is pretty easy to work with, you can put it in your hands and use your fingers to break it up, and as long as you are quick and dont hold it too long, it doesn't melt and you can break off a lil peice and roll it into a ball. I make a bunch all at once and dabs them throughtout the day. Waxy types of oils and even easier to work with, you can just use your tool and scoop some on. Full melt bubblehash is also very easy to work with.
In that pic, those resin containers are hard (but not brittle hard) at room temp. Very stable.
you might want to see if you can get distillate (dunno if LPs sell it, but Moms and some dispensaries do). it comes in an oral syringe and you can put it on a paper easily or put some on a tool for dabbing.
