Damn Choppers! Had a nice little crop of Skunk #11 and Jorges Diamonds growing (for personal use due to my depression issues)... Spent around 1.5 months getting them nice and healthy, used the best of the best nutes, just put them to flower, and guess what...

tiktiktiktitktitktitktitktitkt (the sound of a chopper lol) flys overhead and reads the heat signature of the damn HPS lights!

2 growers got raided today, and I hear, thanks to some generous dogs (in lock up who were released on bail), im next!

Uprooted them (it's like killing a bunch of babies i swear), and chopped em up! Better to be safe than sorry I suppose.

So much money and time wasted, so here is my question.

IS THERE ANYTHING at all that actually works to block out a heat signature that a few 600HPS lights give out? I have tried foil, mylar, and had double sided bubble wrap covered in mylar foil on each side when the heat sig was read.

Cheers for the warning, but this thread offers no real HR content.

Police have used heat sensing camera's i.e IR camera's for a while now. They also check power consumption for out of the ordinary.

To answer your question in bold. It's also the heat signature of the exhaust fumes, and also the smell of the plant that escapes these vents that is also an issue. We are not here to help you break the law.
