cannabis glycerine to vape in vape pen

Hi have read on the internet that you can extract thc from buds using using glycerol
Then vape the glycerol in a vape pen has anybody tryed this

does anybody know any other ways I can extract my bud into an oil which i can vape with a vape pen.
