Cannabis for the gym?

If I start going to the gym and weightlifting for health and the nice little narcissistic endorphin rush, would you recommend a vaporizer hit and a strong cup or two of coffee (in addition to a healthy high-protein diet) before working out? I imagine this feeling great for some reason, despite the fact that I've had bad experiences mixing weed and coffee on occasion.

I might start working out in a park instead of a gym, using the dip and chinup bars and the bike circuit. My my, wouldn't the fresh air and nature be nice and motivating, especially if I were stoned!
 
In my experience, thc and gym don't mix. I felt too lazy and not able to really concentrate on pumping iron and I didn't get that normal "narcissistic endorphin rush". I use my thc portions mostly for relaxing, not for sports activities... But you gotta try it out yourself.
 
I have a couple of friends that swear by it. Of course they can't run a mile straight and are scrawny as hell.

I personally do not smoke weed prior to working out. If your looking for a narcotic pre-workout boost try an amphetamine, I couldn't imagine lifting without them.

Noradrenalin gives you more energy and can (with an experienced lifter) reduce levels of CNS inhibition on your muscles.

Amphetamines increase focus, which causes better form, allows you to move bigger weights and helps prevent injuries.
 
I personally prefer working out baked. There are times when your just lifting weights and wonder why the hell your doing it, lol. But besides that, if your able to get over the apathy its really great. I actually find that i can do more reps and use more weight this way.
 
I have tried working out while high
I get to the door of the gym, get freaked out and go to drink a beer
 
it can be REALLY FUNN when workin out baked. just make sure to go when ur baked, and not burning out or ull feel too lazy and get a shitty workout
 
Ive thought about getting blazed and going to the gym. But I always get high and just kind of say uhhhhh... yeah im not gona go work out today and then wind up eating some munchies and acctually gain wait instead of losing it.
 
It always seemed like whenever I'd smoke before I went to work out the high would almost wear off immediatly after I started exercising.

If I'm high and start to exercise I almost immediatly sober up.
 
Smokeing then working out makes me feel like shit and pretty sketchy. A vap would definitly help, and as for the caffeen, my friends swear by it on the burn-out so it would probably work out nice.

Do it and let us know how it turns out.
 
I don't like caffeine + the gym other than like green tea... super low caffeine dose.

As for THC/marijuana... I used to save my bowls for after I got done lifting. All those endorphins and then the marijuana wakes you up and you feel so good all over.

Save the bowl/J/whatever for AFTER the gym and a shower.

Same here. Ordered pizza one time and didn't want to pay for delivery, so we rode our bikes to Eagle Boys. Once we got there we were pretty much sober.
 
Working out while High, bad idea?

every time i get high, i get really energetic and usually start dancing and shadowboxing. Am I damaging my heart my doing this? Oh by the way, I use a vaporizer
 
id also like to know the answer to this threads question as im thinkin of working out every day starting today (benching, situps, pushups, things i can do around the house). I suppose i should know the answer to this one but ive never thought about it. and i will be high every time i work out, im high most of the time. sorry to ask for tips on top of yours but this is the thread for it.
 
Pot helps motivate me in certain ways sometimes, and if I wanna work out to start with then Ill usually smoke a little before anyhow. But, its sortof funny that you said smoking makes you wanna start dancing lol.........I mean to me it just helps motivate me if I want to be motivated, of course I can become very lazy if I didnt want to work out from the start.

I dont see why u would be hurting yourself....
