I just smoked 1 joint of some very good brickweed. It looked ugly but a dry-toke tasted like lemon, and I swear to god the bud tasted just as good as my friend's home-grown afghan. Yet it was bricked, seeded, and stemmy.
Anyway I'm pretty stoned right now, definitely above the "high" level but below "baked" - baked for me means either couchlock or psychedelic mindfuck/paranoia. I think this is my favorite level of high for normal use though.
Now for a description of the CEVs, which I'll type with my eyes blindfolded - er, closed - and with the screen turned off, as the darkness enhances the visuals. Also of note, I'm currently listening to Shpongle's debut album, which may influence them. On with the description:
Okay, bud visuals have a lot of similarities and differences from the visuals of traditional hallucinogens. The patterns aren't like flat colors, it's more like the normal colored "dots" we see with our eyes closed are forming themselves into patterns. I can see clearly how they're composed of fuzzy blue and purple dots. Something about them makes me think of people, like each tiny infinitesimal dot is a consciousness in this vast universe of ours. Every time I try to focus, to pick out one of these consciousnesses, more consciousnesses split out of it. Each dot is composed of more dots and on and on for infinity.
I don't feel these philosophical meanderings to be *forced* on me as much as with normal psychedelics, I'm more arriving at them from the normal meandering stoned way of thought. Like I'm just interpreting what I'm seeing, the visuals can lose their significance if I want. That's another thing, weed visuals are very easy to control.
The patterns specifically look like simple mosaic patterns. Like wheels with a bunch of artistic "spokes" and writing inside. Some alien script. Now there are beautiful blue lips on sticks floating past me. Now a flying saucer pushing in on my vision. Now a landscape of . . . 3" tall mud-houses, inhabited by a race of diminutive fishermen. I think it's located in Southern USA. Something about their primitive ways makes me think it was a bunch of hicks who got a little too inbred and developed bizarre dwarfism. Severe cases, like these fuckers are 1" tall. They take tiny boats out to the river.
What the fuck is that mask? A white mask, gold flags trailing behind it. I think it's menacing. Oh wow, it's morphing into a clown with huge teeth. Now it's the scariest jack-in-a-box I've ever seen. It's not scary in an obvious way. It just as this *face*, this psychopathic serial killer face. A psychopathic, uncaring look. Not excited or angry, completely emotionless.
More visuals like that. I'll stop describing them, it's already probably passed the tl;dr mark
My body feels incredible. I feel a mystic sort of apathy. Like I can see through all the bullshit . . . I don't want to do things because most things aren't as important as enjoying life. I guess *that's* the lesson weed teaches me. Don't know if I agree with it or not
When I'm stoned I feel like I do but when sober I don't.
Well alright I might as well wrap this report up. I'm too stoned to fix my spelling/grammar mistakes (remember I typed most of this with the screen turned off and eyes closed), but I'll fix them in the morning.
Edit: Finally got around to breaking it up into more paragraphs and fixing the spelling mistakes
