Had a great time the other night, and decided I had to share the fun with you all :)
Dose: 3 bowls of very high quality bud
Time: 10pm - 1am
It started as I got to my friend G's house in the afternoon, and we promptly went in on an 1/8th of very high quality bud. It tasted very fruity, almost like sugar. We waited til' about 10pm to smoke up so we would last into the night.
10:00 We sat down in my friend's room and put on some Prodigy, the fat of the land, an amazing album. I dried myself out from weed for a few weeks to get back some of that magic, which combined with the potency of the bud and blew me away.
He offered something new called a "marathon". He took a hard hit, passed it to me, and held his in while I hit it. I passed it back, held, and he hit. Repeated through 3 straight bowls (we pack em tight), and let me tell you we got about 25 hits each in maybe 10 minutes.
10:15 We lay back, already getting rushed. I can feel my spine buzzing all the way up and down, and my eyes are very heavy already. Inside my head my thoughts roll slowly in frames, and I can feel my ego dissolve, literally into mush. Pure gravy. I start to making conversation, but my friend stops me and says "listen, let the music go through you".
I close my eyes, and my mind snaps. As the bass line climbs higher I can almost feel myself riding it up into the atmosphere. I catch a glimpse of myself riding on giant waves of sound, I can see it perfectly behind my eyes. I open my eyes and see these waves coming out of the speakers and trailing around the room. I think about reaching for them, but know it would appear funny. Suddenly, I snap to and giggle loudly, and my friend just tosses his head back and says,"man, you're really stoned!"
He shuts the lights off, turns the music up, and in the darkness I can see the band playing on the other side of the room. The guitarist plays frantically in bizarre chop motions and each note gets heavier and heavier, almost too intense to take in. I hear a crowd cheering and for a few moments I am sure that I was at their concert, but was hallucinating being in my friend's house. I start cheering and throwing my hands up, careless of how odd it seems, but find out that I haven't been making noise at all, but just sitting there dumbfounded.
10:30 Not much time has passed, but we are both getting swept away so we switch the music to a live radiohead album. The faster rhythms are almost too quick for my brain to register. It's like listening to a million quick thuds, but not being able to make a rhythm out of this. I felt like the music was shoving me into a tunnel within myself, it was beautiful.
Thom goes on singing, "And true love waits, in haunted attics." What happens next is incredible. As he breaks out into chorus,"Don't leaaaaave, don't leave!" I have tears in my eyes, it all just sounds too good. My body felt like a giant ball of heat, or energy, and my nerves pulsed to the music. I remember it so clear, the feeling of sensing every part of your body at once. For another half hour, we sit and shoot the breeze, but are eventually overcome with dry mouth and forced to get some apple juice.
It's funny feeling impressed by anything less once you've been there... You know how it is. Peace

Great!
I love what good weed can do.
Good taste in music too.. ;)

This isn't really a bump per say.
I'm listening to prodigy again right now after smoking out and song #2 - Breathe is so awesome. I mean I've never liked Prodigy a whole lot, but the way his voice kind of subsides into the background and the song goes around it
incredible
