Cannabis Cup or Easter ?!?

So I bought my VIP cannabis cup ticket a few months ago!!! but I just recently found out that 420 is on easter ! So what should I do go to the cannabis cup or spend it with my family !?

I do find them awkward. So I'll probably go to the cup. But should I tell them that I'm going to the cannabis cup or just tell them I can't make it!? I dont want them to think I like weed more then them

It sounds like it would be a fun time! Take some time out for yourself and go, like many people have already stated do something with the family a day before Easter.

Why would you need a reason to lie to your family? So you don't hurt their feelings...

IDK I personally would tell the truth and tell them that 'I love them,have a great Easter and thanks for understanding'. It's legal in CO so it's not like your doing illegal shit.

It's totally up to you. So have a great time with either choice you make.

If you're worried about them thinking you like weed more then you do them, I'd say try to do something either before after 420 with the family so that way they still get to see you and spend time with you. Just tell them that you made the plans before you knew it was on Easter and I feel like as long as you see them before or after then they'll be way happy.
