'Candy store of drugs' found in West Linn student's car

WEST LINN, Ore. – A West Linn student was busted with "a candy store of drugs” inside his car as he left school Wednesday, police said.

A school resource officer stopped 18-year-old Garrett Smith’s car as he left campus after questioning two other students who reportedly smelled like marijuana. The resource officer said he "was immediately struck by the strong odor of green marijuana," according to Sgt. Neil Hennelly with the West Linn Police Department.

Then, police officers conducted a complete search of the vehicle and said they found two ounces of marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, LSD, hash oil, liquid MDMA, ecstasy, six bongs, flavored rolling papers and a fake urine kit for passing drug tests.

"The student was like a candy store of drugs," the school resource officer said. "He had quite an extensive inventory."

Who rides with 6 bongs? Does he carry one for each different strain he smokes?

While I would happily take his candy store off his hands, I think his car was more like the psychedelics aisle.

Sounds like the first 2 students who smelled like weed dimed on Garrett. Weak sauce.

ehh, I wasn't too thrilled by his "Candy store" of drugs... Most all of those drugs suck besides the bud.. lol i bet he's a typical college hippy kid that loves psychedelics and goes to shows.
 
Unless he you're transporting them or living in your car why would you keep so much on yourself at once? In the least, sell off five of those bongs and buy yourself a little safe or box with a lock.
 
bummer for the kid. but I guess you are asking for trouble if you consistently travel with that amount of contraband, but if this was just a one time thing and a case of bad luck then I'd feel for him a bit.
 
yep, what an idiot. out of all the kids i used to hang out with in high school, the majority got arrested while driving with buds in their car, or blazing while driving. very unnecessary way to get caught.

I actually grew pink weed with dark purple leaves and hairs here in Finland(outside)=D
 
Calling GHB 'liquid ecstasy' pisses me right off.. now they're even calling it 'liquid MDMA'
They better be talking about some sort of REAL liquid MDMA paste or somethin

I think the cop meant 'green marijuana' instead of 'burnt marijuana''. at first i said wtf too but then i realized he was prolly sayin there was so much bud he could smell it without it even gettin smoked . kid prolly had some stank ass bud and the cop could smell it even without nobody smokin it, thats my best guess...becuz 90% of the time they say "detected the odor of burnt marijuana" so i think 'green marijuana' is their way of sayin they smelled bud not smoke.
