hello there .. im just woundering is there anyone on this web site who has had it .. i have had it and am all clear just woundering if there is anyone els.

I'm glad you were able to survive cancer. What kind of cancer did you have and how did you beat it? How long have you been clear?

i had ewings sarcoma, 2 years of cemo, i have been all clear 13 years but im minus 3 ribs and lungr :_)

I know you asked if anyone on BL has had it (I haven't) but I thought Id share this anyway:

My old girl had some kind of Kidney Cancer. She went through this and that, ended up having keyhole surgery. She had the operation about 2 years ago and has been clear ever since.

The doctors still wish to see her for tests and what not every year or so but that's just mainly so they can see how everything is working with just one Kidney.

I feel this thread is deserving of a bump. ;)

I personally have not had cancer to have survived from, but my grandma was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995. She went for (as far as I know) radiation, and had to take pills afterward to "stay" in remission, but she flushed the pills down the toilet. She's still alive and cancer-free (as far as we know).
