Canada - Toronto - 05.23.04 - Freedom @ the Guvernment *UPDATE* This is Happening!!

Alright, I've recieved serious interest in this event. This is happening Sunday, May 23rd. This is a 19+ event. Info is here - If you see an important update, post it here.

All those attending will meet in a public location (TBA) and we will get everyone together before heading to The Guvernment. Ticket info. hasn't been released yet. This even is still in the preliminary stages, but it WILL HAPPEN!

After the event, we will likely be renting a hotel room and finishing off the night. More details TBA

Hey Kyk- I sent you a longer e-mail, but here's some thoughts...

-What's the policy on non-bluelighters? Are they welcome before or after, especially if they are not sketchy?

-We should have a clear meetup spot inside for those who can't make the preparty.
 
I'd be down. I just listened to Activity - Way Out West and realized where I heard it. On Politics of Dancing.

A meet up spot inside Guv/Koolhaus whichever the event is in. That would be appropriate. I'd say Charlies personally. But if there is a premeet that would be rockin' too.
 
I, for one, wouldn't mind having any non-bluelighters show up. The more the merrier, really, as long as they're cool people with fun attitudes. :)

and a meetup spot inside the club would be a good idea.. but since I've never been there (or Canada for that matter), I am going to be totally out of my element. So I'll let someone else handle that.
 
Personally, I've never been to the Guvernment either.

From the e-mails I've recieved and people I've talked to, it seems a lot of those going will be with thier own friends, which is to be expected.

Anyone who wants to is welcome to meet up beforehand, but I'm not pushing the matter. After the party, we'll be meeting in a hotel (Someone suggested the Holiday Inn) and all interested are welcome.
 
jpgrdnr- will Charlie's be open during this party? The flyer only says the Orange Room, KoolHaus, and the Guv.

I think the easiest meetup spot would be right inside the entrance to the Kool Haus, where the bathrooms are, near the seating area.
 
if you click on Kyk's link, you'll see that their website has been updated and tickets are on sale now... umm $25-35? is that in Can. currency?

arg so whats happening with this, is there going to be a meetup in the Koolhaus/Guv and if so where?

Here's what I think we'll do.

Since it's too much of a hassle to meet up beforehand - we (Me, ice-9, PixieLu and maybe Stark) will meet up at a certain location in the Guv at a certain time.

Keep checking this post because we'll pick a location a couple days before the event. If we get a good turnout we can bring the party back to the hotel room afterwards.
 
(subscribed to the post). nice. I'll try to have a t-shirt made to identify myself (something that says bluelight on it). I might be with a few tranceaddicts (different forum, website).

Scott Bond is on the Saturday as well. Hmmmm.......
 
well I can't believe I'm gonna miss such a big bluelight meetup. Unfortunately the funds won't be there :(
