So I've been buying AC&C pills in BC, every few days for the last couple months until very recently when I moved to Alberta. I used to go to the independent pharmacy by my house and was never asked for information or anything, in fact the pharmacist would have the 200-ct bottle ready for me by the time I got from the door to his desk. I bought them several other places too and again, no issues.
Now here in Alberta, I've bought the fuckers three times, from three different pharmacy chains, and each time they have asked for my full name, phone number, address, etc and have given me a hard time for not having my Alberta health care number on me (I legitimately lost the card). I'd rather not be labeled as a "drug seeker" or have anything come of this, is there some arbitrary law in Alberta that only allows you to buy a certain amount of OTC pills over a certain period? Or is the worst case scenario just them not selling them to me? Alternately, I guess I could give a fake name and info since they never checked my I.D. or anything? Anyone have any personal experience with this?
Thanks.
