Montreal is gearing up to deal with its serious problem with intravenous drug users.

For years community groups and public health services in the city have been trying to set up safe injection sites similar to what is operating in Vancouver.

It was recently announced that four sites will soon be open in the city with the first expected to open next spring.

Thank You S.J.B. This strong piece screams its well beyond time for addicts and users to be treated humanely.. that the people who exploit them, the criminal justice system and jails and prisons as well as the people who feed off the slave labor of people accused of drug felonies, need to go , as who wants real criminals around. But its all about greed if you look far enough..

Edit: and i love the round of applause<3

Short but worth the watch. I hope that law they were talking about (if it's not in any way bad, I haven't read it so maybe it sucks) gets through.

I'm sick of conservative governments fucking everything up. Why can't those money hungry cunts move to Mars or some shit and leave us on earth so we can share what we have and look after everybody, not just the rich. At least global warming won't be a problem there so they can deny it all they want without hurting anyone else.

It will be a nice day when heroin addicts dont get treated like something you scraped off your shoe....esp by the medical comunity..their the worst here in the us.
