Can you use suboxone and heroin simultaneously?

Background: My loved one is an addict. From what I have gathered he snorted percs for a year daily (he said one blue pill could last him a week - just enough to get him through the day). Then he discovered heroin and was snorting it daily. He then started shooting daily for the next year. He came home from work early this past July and told me all this after he had gotten in trouble earlier that day (He got high that morning and got caught stealing from Walmart). Since then he has been self medicating with suboxone strips. He buys 8 mg strips off the street and takes 2mg a day.

Things still aren't right and I am suspicious. Especially after last night. I licked his drivers license and could tell there were drugs on the edges. It was a bitter taste and my mouth became extremely dry and my heart started racing. The feeling didn't last long but I was upset.

Has anyone simultaneously used suboxone and heroin? How were your moods? Does it seem like a 3 year (possibly longer) opiate addict can effectively treat himself with 2mg of suboxone a day? Could he being using such a low dose so that it wears off quicker so he can use heroin? I stopped keeping track of his suboxone strips to make sure he takes it every day because I am tired of his addiction.

Most importantly, is there any reason to believe that this concoction or the flip-flop of these drugs is lethal?

you could take em both at the same time but you def wouldnt like the feeling itll give you... but honestly before you ingest any more drugs you should stop and do two mins worth of research as to what each drug does and how it does it...

Thanks. Its my husband who is injesting drugs and im trying to figure out what he could be doing. I have done plenty of research and am trying to contact anyone who is currently or previously interacting the two drugs. I know he takes suboxone but i am not sure if its daily and i know he had H on his license recently. His behavior and mental state is not stable leading me to believe he is could possibly be using H in between subs and i am scared that it could kill him. Just want to hear from any personal experiences that they have done this so i know its possible.
