Misc can you smoke the same smoke twice?

like if i exhale into a bag then inhale the air/smoke in the bag...

i think its a good idea to be more economical with your weed. there must still be tons of weed smoke still in the bag. maybe not though, sometimes these things can be counterintuative.

sorry i just realise youre talking about roxys. but im sure the same things apply.
 
If you inhale a puff of smoke, the active ingredient gets absorbed within seconds.. I cannot see any benefit from exhaling into a bag and then re-inhaling the same smoke.. If there were any active ingredient left in the exhale, I would imagine it would get spoiled very very quickly.

Not to mention, smoking roxis is completely un-economical and the bio-availability is very low. Smoking oxycodone destroys most of the good stuff, on contact with the high heat of a lighter..

I will leave this open for a bit but will probably close this as I cannot see much quality discussion being generated from this..
 
YEah I thought there wasnt any point in re-ihaling the same smoke, its like when people 'hotbox' a car, dont know if anyone is familiar with that term but does it really get you more baked I just reckon its worse for your chest.
 
Xtc: by hotboxing a car do you mean exhaust gas recirculation aka EGR? It has no other benefits than warming your engine to a optimal operating temperature sooner in extremely cold conditions like here (-30 degree celsius).

No.. Hot boxing is a term referring to smoking inside a car with the windows up, in order to catch the smoke inside the vehicle. Some people think the smoke caught in the car will get you higher simply from breathing it in during the smoking session.
 
Aww. Thats just plain stupid. You actually inhale the carcinogens that were not absorbed during the first pass. Also the amount clean air near zero when you try to inhale while not doing the blunt, pipe, or whatever the thing your using. Also smoking inside a car with windows closed could attract police since the smoke from weed has different shade as the smoke from cigarettes.
 
Yea probably not a good idea, the active ingredients will be absorbed the first time inhaled. The shit will be left over for the second round.

the one legitimate way to do this i learned from my friends who smoke heroin. they exhale through the tobacco end of a cig many times, then smoke the cig, and it gets them dopey. probably wouldnt work with roxies though, as they ARE NOT MEANT TO BE SMOKED, CUZ YOU BURN A MAJORITY OF THE DRUG.. goddamned 15 year olds watching oxycontin express and trying to be cool. snort, eat, or plug your pills, please. or if you must, bang em with a micron filter.
 
Most drugs do not need but a few seconds to absorb when smoked. Yes, there are exceptions, but you're smoking oxycodone, which is a bad idea in itself.

This doesn't have anything to do with harm reduction so I'm closing it. Don't re-inhale smoke from a bag, that's just wasting your time.
