Can you smoke resin this way?

I have a colored, well it's not heavily colored but I want to try to smoke resin. I've never done it and I've never done a deep clean on my pipe. only time I clean it is when the bowl gets so caked that it turns into like a one-hitter or drips liquified resin from the mouthpiece.

I've had this pipe for 4-5 years, and smoke out of it everyday and sometimes night. So 5 years straight and this thing's LOADED. I looked up on something called "Scooby Snacks" which is where you roll up resin in keif and smoke that so i'm gonna try that also. I'll probably add my homegrown to it because I hear it tastes bad.

The reason I want to try it is because:

A.) I want to experience the resin high for myself
B.)I have a hypothesis that the other chemicals other than THC (CBD, CBN, CBC) aren't "Completely" broken down during the combustion of the dried bud

And I was also wondering if you can just hold the lighter under the bowl and "Vaporize" the resin.

Thoughts?

This is typically something people do when they're dry, so you come off as kinda snobbish I guess. :D You are a lucky man to have homegrown to add to the mix. :D

It's really simple man, just scrape a little bit out of your pipe, put it on the screen, and apply heat. It'll bubble, you'll get harsh smoke, and it'll turn grey when its spent. It will get you high, but not exactly good for you.

I suggest dedicating a screen for resin, as it'll cake up a screen really fast. If you wanna reuse a resin screen just heat it up with you lighter (you can catch a head turn off that smoke too if you're desperate), when it turns red let it cool and place the screen on a hard surface that you don't care about ruining. With your bic lighter use the metal end and just rake it across the screen and all the black stuff should fall out. If you don't get it all in the first run repeat the process until its totally clean.

Yes, I was cheap, I've got screens that are still clear that I bought 5 years ago. ;)

Resin isn't that complicated though....add it to joints/blunts, smoke it by itself in a pipe, hell I've seen people make "dookie balls" by rolling bits of rolling paper into the resin and smoking that in a pipe. Its all about how desperate you are. ;)

BTW if you wanna have some fun and you have a metal pipe: Store buds in the chambers and smoke the rest of your stash through them. When you crack the pipe back open you have a SUPER bud xD. Save roaches, roll roach joint, save that roach and all other roaches from "roach joints" and roll a second generation roach joint. You can keep that game up for as long as you want, we got to 9th generation roach joint once and the stuff was super solid, almost not even weed anymore. :)

Do we need another mod for CD?

And I smoked some of the resin by scraping the bowl, and indeed it tasted foul but 1 bowl lasted like 15 minutes! Then, I got down to the "Wet" or "Gooey" resin which seemed to work better to get high off of IMO.

Does anyone know yet i it's safe to hold the lighter under the pipe and vaporize the residue?
 
^ It's no less dangerous than straight up smoking the stuff, thats for sure.

Well, you only live once! I don't mind switching it up for a day and putting the resin to good use. Sometimes it's nice to smoke the gunk instead of wasting it. Then again i'm prescribed liver-toxic painkillers also so it doesn't really make a difference IMO

Yeah I got like a 20 foot twine of hepmwick. I'll deff. try this and see how that goes. I've heard of people smoking hempwick but I bet they don't realize there's also beeswax in there too lol
