Use the search engine. This has been covered many many times before. The usual answer is no, but there will be a few people that say they have done it successfully. I actually know someone who will not take their OC any other way than smoking. They say they get high from it, their pupils get tiny, and they continue buying them and smoking them.
Most people are gonna tell you its a waste of OC, but you will never really know unless you try it.

Smoking is a waste. Even if you get some effects the bioav. isn't as high as it would be if you took them orally, it probably won't even be as high as if you insufflated.

The person I know that does it all the time just cuts it up into 4 pieces and smokes them one at a time off of aluminum foil. They hold the lighter under the foil and use a straw to inhale the fumes. They say it gives them a good rush followed by a relatively short high.
If you do decide to try it, be careful not to burn the pill, you want to vaporize it not torch it. It might be helpful to crush up the pill and mix some up with a small amount of water and smoke it out of a spoon.
Try it at your own risk. Your lungs aren't designed to inhale insoluble pill binders and fillers. Oxycontin contains talc as a filler, this is from wikipedia:
"Several studies have established preliminary links between talc and pulmonary issues, lung cancer, skin cancer and ovarian cancer"
Snorting the things is bad enough, small amounts of talc can get into your lungs. Not immediately dangerous but repeated use over a long period of time might cause some problems. Smoking it bypasses your nose and sinuses and just puts the stuff straight into your lungs. Definately not healthy, youd be safer smoking heroin.

ibc, horrible post. UTFSE...smoking pills = pretty damn dumb...eat, snort it, plug it, shoot it...chew on it...just don't smoke it

IT is bad, shouldn't be done, but putting it on foil and burning from underneath as the foil is slanted downard. Use an emtry straw to follor the smoke. All the filler is left behind as a black line on the foil.

I said I would never do it, but in the college town I went to school, EVERYBODY that dealt in OC smoked it. I thought it was just as rediculous as everyone else until I started smoking it.

I know a guy who insisted on smoking Vic's, rolling them up in his blunts, dumbest man I ever met. He got to smoke himself a nice load of tylenol and hydrocodone. Anyone who smokes pills is a fool.
