can you smoke methadone or morphine?

Just curious... Its late and I haven't seen anyone asking this before in my days of lurking. I don't like smoking my drugs except pot, simply curious.

And if you can/cant, why or why not? I like having random little facts/knowledge like that. And I'm sitting happy on a nice dose of methadone and mscontin so I feel like posting and gaining smarts. Lol

If you wanna smoke it, you may as well pass on half that stash you got to me, and just eat the rest cos if you smoke it all, in effect, that's what you'd be doing.

The drugs that get you high are destroyed at higher temperatures. There's just no point.
In order of preference and bioavailability -

eat, snort, plug, shoot... dont burn them. please.

As I said before... I DO NOT SMOKE OPIATES. I plug/ snort them. Only reason I still snort is because I get addicted to doing them that way so the snorting is just part of my "ritual" of getting high. I know they are destroyed, yet people still smoke oxy and I think it is a waste. my question was since u can smoke oxy, why or why not dones or morphine. That is all

morphine can most def be smoked (actually vaporized, since thats what you're doing when you smoke opium). but I don't know if smoking a morphine PILL will work out. thats gotta do something fierce to your lungs.
