Stimulants Can you purify street amphetamine with just water???

Is it true that you can purify street amphetamine with water of the room temperature???
I have read somewhere that amphetamine is very soluble in water.
And if this is true then can I use a coffee filter for the purification, will it be enough?
And what is the most efficient way to get the water out, so that only pure amphetamine will be left?
 
Do some forum searches on Purifying or "Washing" methamphetamine. Water isn't always the greatest as it can also dissolve some cuts. I would recommend looking in to an acetone wash. Its simple and CAN have extreme effects on the quality of your gear. There are a few methods but the acetone method is the simplest which you should try. Acetone also evaporates into the atmosphere ALOT quicker then that of water.
 
Yeah, I've read this when he first posted. I'm thinking he's really talking about amphetamine paste or something. But I also agree on, if you're talking about methamphetamine, do the acetone wash. I think the acetone also has to be anhydrous or something. I don't really know. but it's somewhere here or the net.
 
Hmmm, I've never encountered amphetamine paste where I live. Well assuming its regular street amp that hasn't been stomped out with glucose then you can definently purify it but acetone is still your best best. Most street cuts are water soluable for easy administration for IV and Intranasal users?
 
Here we don't have amphetamine paste just crystal methamphetamine but an acetone wash is what I'd do to quickly and efficiently see how much methamphetamine is really methamphetamine.
 
It's funny it's never mentioned on BL. But yeah you can. You might lose a lot of product but it works.

Either that or a cold water extraction with cocaine. Last time I got coke like 25% of the powder wouldn't dissolve easily in the spoon for a shot. So basically dump your bag in a container, soak it in cold water and filter with a cotton and evaporate. It will remove any non water soluble cutting agents.

You probably also lose a lot of drugs this way but it does work.

It's a god damn shame cocaine has gotten to a point where you can do a CWE on it.
 
This really depends on what additives / cuts have been used - you will only remove water soluble ones, 'anhydrous" acetone would remove the likes of caffeine.
 
I think it removes more than caffeine! I'm not sure whether it cleans out MSM, pretty sure it does not but I've seen an acetone wash work miracles on a sack of shards.
 
In my area most bags are sold uncut so usually when I used to acetone wash it, I'd get back 99% of my yield and chalked up the 1% loss as part of the wash. Way too pure it's crazy that they sell shit this potent but I guess it's so cheap for them and they want people to get as hooked as possible as fast as possible and make people's tolerances skyrocket. It more than works for them..
 
Considering almost all cuts are soluble to an extent in water.... you won't get very far with aqueous methods for purification.
