Can you preserve an IV solution in a syringe?

I was going to bang a 30 mg oxycodone but I don't want to do it until tomorrow.. so I was wondering if I could create the solution and suck it into the syringe tonight and use it tomorrow?

I'm not sure if the product's potency decreases due to just sitting there in the syringe unused. So can I use this method, or would the product go bad or lose potency?

I don't think oxy breaks down in solution the way heroin does, but giving bacteria a chance to grow for no reason is a bad idea. While it would likely cause no problems why chance it?

The bacterial growth will be an issue if stored for days.

However you can always put the pre-prepped syringe in the freezer to avoid it.

Just leave some empty space in the barrel (air) because water will expand when freezed. I've stored pre-prepped shots in syringes in a freezer up to few weeks.

Thanks for the help guys, I decided against prepping Oxy shots due to possible bacteria growth and other health issues. The safe way seems to be putting the syringe in the freezer after prepping it.. but will the solution freeze?

Don't do it. The convenience is not worth the risk of catching a serious infection or other complications. If you have sterilized vials and a wheel filter and were meticulous about your technique, you could store them that way ... Both of those items are pretty easy to find online.
