can you overdose on black tar heroin if you miss a vein?

If you did a gram shot but you couldn't hit it in your vein but shot it anyways would it kill you? Having a small tolerance.


Also, would injecting a full syringe of air kill you?

There are a lot of variables that determine how any drug will affect you. IV heroin with low tolerance can be very dangerous. Your other question concerns me. I question why you even ask if a full shot of air would harm you. Any air at all is something any iv tries to avoid, doing something like a full air shot would be intentional. We are here to support one another. If something is going on in your life that's stressing you out or whatever please share it with us. Many of us have had dark times in our lives and we understand how it is to feel a little off kilter. If I'm way off base let me know. Hope to hear back from you shortly.

The air would most likely not kill you many think a tiny bit of air in a syringe can kill you but the truth is you could inject quite a bit before any problems arise from doing so. I don't recommend shooting a syringe full of air though what is the purpose of doing that?

A gram of dope would most likely kill an opiate tolerant person if the heroin is of average purity(30-50℅)
Subcutaneous (under the skin) injection of heroin will still produce effects but it just won't take as long to kick in as it would if you IVed it directly into your veins.

In fact Some people actually use heroin that way its called skin popping the heroin still hits you but takes longer to produce effects.

I'm pretty sure a gram will kill you no matter what, unless you're crazy tolerant.

As for the air, being that you put this with the heroin, I assume you mean 1-3 ml. This is nowhere near enough air to kill you. You need at least 45 ml, and that's a lower estimate. For euthanasia purposes, usually about 90ml is given.

It will produce the very similar effects to IV minus the rush and will take a bit to kick in. But its really important to realize it will kick in eventually SO WE HAVE TO RESIST THE TEMPTATION TO FIX UP AND HIT PROPER.. real good way to OD doing that. Cause we hit propper, but the effects of the skin pop or miss are still wil come up over time and can certainly lead to a OD.

just cuz u miss doesnt mean that the drug wont accumulate in your body, whats dangerous is to shoot and if u miss, then shoot more, cuz the stuff u missed will slowly be absorbed and you have to account for that

I have always heard that it will affect you, and logic says that it should, yet every time I have been dope sick and missed a shot I never experienced any relief. Like those times when all you have is in the shot and you miss and it might take a few hours til you get more--I felt just as bad for those hours as I did before the miss. And didnt feel any better until I did a shot.

I have read that missing is different than a subcutaneous injection, as when you miss it's into a different type of tissue rather than shallow skin. Maybe that has something to do with it. Not sure. But I've missed 5 bag shots and not felt a thing
