Can you have a really really good time for hours and hours in a club without drugs?
I find that Im over it after about 2-3 hours and even then I only really have an average time unless Im off my face. I know its a bit tragic but after 20 years of dance music ,clubs and parties I just cant go anymore unless I can take something to keep me going and make me high.

I find them pretty lame on drugs or without. A sober night out for me would be having G and/or meth at a club and not pills. I find clubbing boring as hell these days. Unless it's a strip club.

It is possible to dance all night without chemical assistance. I have found it is necessary to have a little catnap in the chill-out room from around 4am - 6am, then good to go for another couple of hours :) ymmv...

shit, I can't have a good time doing anything without the aid of some sort of chemical, aside from sex. sex is always fun, just rare.

Yes. Lately when i go clubbing, i just have a few drinks, a few red bulls, maybe a cheeseburger or two at some point.

I usually start with a bottle of passion pop (its cheap), drink that on the way from the train station to the club. I can arrive at a club at around 10pm, and stay there until 6 in the morning. I dance pretty much most of the night (more than my friends who are usually on pills). I'm always still wide awake and ready to keep partying when we leave, i stay awake the whole train ride home, and can stay up until mid-day just talking to friends.

I don't get that drunk, i like to stay co-ordinated so i can shuffle properly.

I used to go dancing at clubs back in the 80s, and rarely even drank. But then again I liked the music and enjoyed dancing a lot back then.

Personally I tend to reserve drug use more for times when I'm stuck at home alone... makes otherwise boring time like that a lot more interesting. Clubbing, I could probably do without.

Sure you can have a good time and dance all night without drugs, its still heaps fun. (same music same crowd etc.) it will just take more natural energy. -Lucky i have heaps, but drugs just make it easier.. Im heaps tired by the end of the night when i do it, though its only if theres no other alternative.

theres no way for me to have fun in clubs without any drugs, theres no way to have fun with them either:). i used to love going clubbing, but i cant stand loud music anymore. i also dont like the lights, hurts my eyes. besides i hate alcohol and E and people usually do that kind of shit in clubs and i cant stand people rolling balls or getting drunk and do stupid things. watching someone ingesting alcohol seems very disgusting to me. another reason i cant enjoy clubs is, where i live there are always narcs in clubs which really suck :( i cant feel safe if i'm scoring something in a club.

Yes.

Life is all about experiences and what YOU make of them.

It's sad to read that there are people out there who feel they need to be 'off their face' to enjoy a night out. If that's the case maybe you need to look at the places your going and who you are going with and WHY your actually there.
It should be because you enjoy the music, the people, the scene. Not because it's somewhere you can take drugs.

I love the fact that I know I can go out with my best friend, sit back enjoy the music, enjoy the people, have a shuffle and walk out at the end of the night with a smile from ear to ear, without anything but happiness running through my system.

Drugs are there to ADD to an experience NOT make one :)

Just my 2cents :)

I've never even tried going to the club without being on ecstasy... I don't think it would be enjoyable enough for me to go.

Yeah, good point lil angel, but we are talking about night clubs. Going to a night club sober is shit, just admit it :) Going out to dinner with friends where you can actually talk or going to the beach is a different story. But a place where you cannot talk at all, loud music is pumping and everyone is drinking or on drugs, you need to be off your face or you're just going to be sitting there doing nothing and becoming bored.

I'd rather listen to my favourite music at home or in the car than pay to listen to it in a club if im not on drugs.

Thats right, drugs ADD the fun and enjoyment in the experience...lol Jokes.

Depends on the type of night your after, I certainly can have fun going out sober, but once you get over clubbing it sort of doesn't matter either way.

I think that perhaps because I took shit loads of E from the age of 18 up when my brain was still forming its neuronal connections or what have you, that as soon as I hear house music now my brain just switches into "feed me E" mode and wont shutup till I get it. I only go out about twice a year now though and if I cannot get anything at the time I usually wont go. I also find that many clubs are rife with meth users these days and the vibe tends to be quite aggressive and unfriendly. When I have E I can ignore all the fuckwits and dance for 10 hours straight.

Lil angel how old are you? Because you sound very young. I know that its not about the drugs but some of us just dont have the energy to go all night. Once I hit about 35 my energy levels decreased in a major way. I just cant do it like I did when I was twenty anymore. Even when I do take drugs I really feel it the next few days. My body aches like I can imagine a 90 year olds would.

I could go clubbing sober but I'd lack the energy to dance the night away and be grouchy. Stuff like speed is good for getting you in the mood and G and alcohol can make talking to people easier whilst stuff like 2C-B can make you appreciate music more and provide randomness on the dance floor :D Everytime I go clubbing I take drugs but seeing as I listen to "club music" at home when I'm sober it doesn't bother me.
